M'lord, I believe the title is "Heroes of Mandalore"

 

Judging be the spoilers it doesn't seem like it's the premiere, just a random episode.

 

I believe it is. "Part 1" was in the episode title - and Rebels traditionally starts each season with a two parter.

So someone on reddit (who's supplied us with some spoilers) has said he doesn't recall this shot being in the episode:

Is there any way Ursa could have survived?

Because otherwise it could mean this wasn't the premiere. Was Bo Katan treated like this was her first appearance in the show?

Maybe Ursa somehow survived? Is that possible?

 

IGN *should* have a non-spoiler review up soon. Or a member, who is currently there, can confirm the title.

Yeah that's my question too. The episode shown was part one of season 4 right? So that shot could be further along this season. And that means Ursa survived somehow.

Hmm, interesting. Ursa surviving would weaken the seemingly shocking ending of the premier, however. Then again Tristan probably really is toast.

Buy why show it in the trailer then? They've never skipped out on scenes like that in Rebels before.

Yeah that's true. But I'm sure Filoni would have reviewed the trailer and decided what to put in it too.

 

I do not believe the episode was the premier. One, the premier episodes/movies do not have "Part 1" in the title, usually it's used for two-parters that occur during the season. Two, based on what I've read online...

Bo-Katan is part of the team that attacks the prison with no introduction. This particular screenshot hints at that intro, perhaps the first time Sabine meets Bo-Katan and offers her the saber. It might be the reason she joins their team. Or, I could be wrong.

 

Oh, so this isn't the premier? Makes me wonder why they'd show a random (albeit very important) episode rather than the premier at Celebration like they have done in the past.

 

The obvious explanation is that the Premire is crap and they need to show something to get people hyped

Any number of reasons. They wanted one that was Sabine focused to build on the theme of pushing their female characters more into the spotlight. They figured the fans would get a nice kick out of seeing Bo Katan again. They wanted to follow up on the the tease they showed with the last Rebels Recon and push the Mandalorian civil war.
