Dr Stranglove Or, How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Atomic Bomb and Full Metal Jacket: Everyone seems to remember Kubrick for A Clockwork Orange but personally I find thee two much better. Both hilarious in an ironic, dark kind ofway.

Clerks: If you've ever worked retail you'll be peeing yourself.

Watched 'Click' yesterday. Very funny in parts but a totally obvious and american feel good film. Still- I didn't mind it. Especially Kate Beckinsale!!! [face_love]

Has anyobdy watched 'World Trade Center'? I'm confuddled- I watched the first part of it wehn they get trapped- but they went into the tower that got hit first and, it appears, they got trapped under this one. Thoguh we all know the second tower to get hit fell first- or were they in between buildings when the second tower to get hit collapsed? I might need to watch again, as I skimmed over some of it first time.

Watched Saw 3 at the weekend and Deja Vu tonite. Both good films but Saw 3 I really liked. Unfortunately they are making a Saw 4 which I dont think they should- as Saw 3 left it brilliantly with still unanswered questions. Deja Vu was a bit predictable but ok to watch- with the obvious after chat of 'this couldnt happen with this not happening' etc.

Can anyone answer my World Trade Center question? Plus did I see a quick trailer for some Conspiracy thing to be shown on terrestrial TV soon about 9/11? Was it Loose Change? I'd watch it for a laugh- though I could watch it online but cant be bothered. Strange.

Saw 3 ( though I thought the situations were a littel TOO impossible to get out of) I really really liked .. but that could have been the company I was in with too :)

Watched Hannibal rising the other night - atrocious flick, so dont see that :p

Just a few that I love:

Night of the Living Dead (the original)
Dawn of the Dead (the original)
    Ninth Gate
Reefer Madness (it's public domain now so it's free to download)
    Johnny Mnemonic
    Fight Club
    Pi
    Cube
    Hackers
Ju-On (not seen the original, but I saw the remake)
Ringu (I'm undecided as to whether I prefer the original or the remake)
Gin Gwai (aka The Eye) (the original, they're filming a remake atm)

I'd like to know if anyone has seen "Gatti rossi in un labirinto di vetro", it seems very interesting.

I'd recommend more films, I have a few obscure ones at home, but they're at home and I'm not.

Edit: They're making Gin Gwai 3! What's odd is that it goes Gin Gwai, Gin Gwai 2, Gin Gwai 10 and then Gin Gwai 3. Gin Gwai 3 should be out next year, I can't wait.

If you want to watch a Japanese film...Battle Royale FTW!

And if like me, you're going without on Valentines Day, I recommend Swingers. - well, I'd recommend it, anyway. It's "Money!"

Or, just get some Porn. Anything with Austin Kincaid in it is a winner in my book! =P~ :p [face_monkey]

This movie rocks. One of the best films I've seen, recently or otherwise. Very funny and also very touching (in a completly hetero-sexual way lol)

The Princess Bride - It's a cult classic & greatly under-rated. Well acted very funny & has one of the best movie line's ever

"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die"

2001: A Space Odyssey - It's rather long and confusing, but stick with it. It's very well done, and HAL 9000 is one of the scariest villains ever created.

The Wicker Man - the remake was utter tripe but the original is wonderful, especially the new edition. Christopher Lee is great and the end is disturbing.

Fight Club is a really incredible film, as is V for Vendetta. For the latter, imagine the Conservatives took over Britain and turned the country into a dictatorship, and a Guy-Fawkes-wannabe decides to destroy them.

Serenity, as well, though you really need to watch the TV series Firefly to go with it.

Has any of you ever seen 'Stay' with Ewan McGregor? Just remembered it there as I seen it on my hard drive. Good film with a bit of a twist and braintease.

Watched Poseidon remake tonite- actually quite enjoyable. Though some of those characters must have had massive lung capacity! :p

Another great public domain (and therefore legal to download) film is Things to Come. It was made in 1936 and it rocks.
