Does anyone remmember these short live TGIF shows, Camp Wilder, Aliens In The Family, Going Places or the excellent yet it still got cancelled Brother's Keeper?

I remember Aliens in the Family. It was... meh.

I can't believe somebody else remembers Brother's Keeper. It was the single funniest show I had seen up to that point. One of the few things to actually make me "lol."

    -P!-

Once there was a Family Matters/Step by Step cross-over. Urkel blasted off in a jetpack in the FM episode, then showed up in the following SbS episode. That was strange.

Oh my gosh, Dinosaurs! I loved that show more than words can describe. The ending totally scared the crap out of me, however. Was there ever another sitcom that concluded with killing off every single character? It made me cry!

I think Brother's Keeper is almost as funny as Frasier.

I had forgotten that Dinosaurs ended that way. I guess it won't be coming back.

Anybody remember the episode of Perfect Strangers where they were trapped in the building's basment and it started flooding?

I remember that STEP by STEP was like a weird "updated" version of the Brady Bunch, except the kids hated each other. And then it moved to CBS (and so did Family Matters). I never even saw the series finales of those shows.

I LOVED full house. Yes, a lot of the shows were cheesy, but they did have a few serious shows (like the one they had about child abuse).

I remember Matthew Perry was on an ep. of "Just the Ten of Us." He played the "good" boyfriend so the 2nd eldest girl could go on a date with a "bad" boyfriend. And the girls had a DM banner too!

I'm pretty sure it was on TGIF.

Oh, and let us not forget the drinking game involving "Sabrina, the teenage witch."

Rider Strong is a malicious sexual beast that owns my soul.

All I have to say is [face_love]

Dinosaurs! OMG! That is a show I wish would show up on DVD or something. I always liked my mom better so after that came out I was always saying "not the mama" to my dad

Brother's Keeper- I remember that show being funny. The only thing I can remeber about it was the episode were the one guy had the drug test which he failed because he had eaten bird seed thinking it was cereal and it had poppyseeds in it.

As for all the shows pn TGIF wasn't there another Olsen Twins show that was on for awhile? I think it came out at the same time as Brother's Keeper...

Sure was another Olsen Twins show it was called Two of a Kind. It only lasted one season.

There's was another show I discover was on TGIF called Hi Honey I'm Home. It was about a 1950s tv sitcom family that winds up in the 1990s. I barely remember this one.

he was just supposed to be the annoying neighbor who pops in every now and then, like Kimmy Gibler on Full House. But he completely took the show over.

was he a neighbor? I seem to remember he was first introduced as the "date" Carl brings home for Laura, but she ends up with the cute guy she really likes at the end of the episode...

...and then he became the running gag, the nerd with the huge crush on Laura, but of course they had to get sappy and finally let him get the girl... ;)

Hi Honey I'm Home was a great show. Especially the way they blended 50's era into the 80's.

The younger one, she just dissapered from the show.

Her mother insisted on more money so they released her. The girl grew up became involved with drugs, she then became a porn star under a stage name. I think she found Jesus or something and quit the drugs and porn industry and works with kids now. I was totally shocked to learn she became a porn star.

Another show that was on TGIF that has yet to be mentioned was Just the Nine of us or Just the Ten of Us something like that.

Oh my god! I remember all this!

I must have seen every single episode of Full House. I still remember the last episode when it first aired, and they came out on the set and did the stage bow and they all had flowers!! :(

On a less sentimental note, Suzanne Somers on Step by Step = hottest. mom. EVAR. :)

I remember the old Friday lineup. I loved those shows. TV these days just doesn't keep me entertained most of the time.

I really don't know what the execs were thinking but they had "America's Funniest Home Videos", hosted by Bob Saget and "America's Funniest People", hosted by Dave Coulier on simultaneously. ????

Its sad when you can still remember the theme songs.

Step by step, day by day, a fresh start over.......

Everywhere you look, everywhere you look...

...what was the "new" Family Matters theme? I know the first season they used "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong, but then they changed it...

Oh, god, I LOVED "Just the Ten of Us"-and yes, it was indeed on TGIF-as was Mr. Belvadere! I remember my cousin and I used to play dress up and pretend we were the Lubbock Babes.
And not only was Matthew Perry on there, but so was Matt LeBlanc as the star football player. Small world, eh? And later, Perry was on the show JTTOU split from, Growing Pains as Carole's boyfriend who dies in a car accident.

I used to watch Boy Meets World because I had a mean crush on Will Friedle. Now I think he does a lot of voice-acting. I believe he's in Disney's Kim Possible. BTW, were you guys aware that Ben Savage's brother is Fred Savage of The Wonder Years?

Perfect Strangers absolutely sucked, but I still watched it. Actually, it wouldn't have sucked if it hadn't been for Larry. I HATED him, he was so freaking annoying and I wanted to smack the Sith out of him.

    I loved the Lubbock babes.

Perfect Strangers jumped the shark when they moved to the house.
