it has since been reported that it will open with a limited release (10 screens) on November 7, 2008 with a DVD release to follow in January 2009.[1] The soundtrack will be released online on September 30, 2008, and released in CD-format to coincide with the release of the DVD.

Is that up to date?

 

Yup. Soundtrack that is released on the 30th of this month will only be digital - Amazon is releasing a physical version, but it's not official.

The dvd comes out in January, as well as the official physical cd, which may or may not contain more songs depending on how the film does.


And it will be released in 10 theaters if we're lucky.

However, Darren and Terrance are physically taking the movie on tour around the country to some cities that will miss out on it. These will be showings hosted by them, with a question and answering after the film.

 

Are the 10 cities listed yet? A schedule for the tour?

So are you working on an art entry? I was busy doing birthday most yesterday and the day before so only now am I REALLY getting into it. I foresee some lack of sleep over the next couple days!

 

Er...the art contest is due tomorrow (Monday).

I seriously can't, I had to do a magazine spread this weekend and that took up allllll my time. No way can I get something done and scanned in by tomorrow.

 

Yeah, but it's tomorrow night by 11:59pm, PST. That's by 1am Tuesday, my time.


Plan: work ridiculous amounts tonight.
go to work miserable tomorrow morning.
work like crazy trying to make the deadline.
sleep for four hours and go to work being extra miserable the next day too.

Lol, helps me be extra one of the people who buys the soundtrack. (I preordered a hard copy from Amazon and I'm planning on purchasing it online as well the day of. )

I want to work on that black and white version a bit more- Then maybe do a colored second version.
