Wow, it's great to see I haven't lost all my reader, ya know?

I've been spending most of my time writing fics, so I should have the next chapter up this evening. (If I can get on the computer)

 

Sorry it took me so long to post....I've got finals this week.

Chapter Fourteen:

Jag looked up to see Mara walking into the room, eyes searching for something. He started to say hello, but caught himself. She already looked angry and seeing him wasn?t going to help the situation. Unfortunately, it seemed he was the one she wanted to find, for she started to make her way over to the kitchen, where he and Kyp had been put to work cleaning the food mess from the ?party?, though Jag had to admit, he didn?t remember much after the point where Ganner joined them in their ?celebration?.

?Jag,? Mara began, looking him straight in the eye, ?I?m going to have to ask for your blaster.?

?What!? Jag started, were they taking his weapon away as some sort of punishment? If they were, they had another thing coming? he was not surrendering his blaster. ?Why??

?I have something to show you and I promised I would disarm you first, okay?? She stuck out her hand expectantly.

?I have a bad feeling about this.? Jag muttered, reluctantly handing her his weapon. Beside him, Kyp was quietly cleaning, almost like he already knew what was coming and was trying to stay out of it. Jag wasn?t going to let that happen, ?Why don?t you take Kyp?s lightsaber too?? he asked, gesturing towards the weapon on the other man?s belt.

?Because this doesn?t concern him.? Mara said, putting his blaster in her holster. She turned and left the room, returning a few minutes later with two people behind her. It took Jag a few seconds to realize who those two people were, and then a few more to realize what this meant.

?Please tell me this isn?t what I think it is.? He said, his voice threatening. He looked at his sister in shock, then at Ganner; still not able to believe it, he blinked a few times. His sister?s outfit didn?t leave much to the imagination, and Ganner was missing a shirt; they both looked like they had just been woken up.

?Yep.? Mara said, bringing his fear to reality. ?I caught these two in the lounge, looking pretty cozy on the couch; though they were both spaced out on hallucinogens when I found them; you can guess what was happening before that.?

Jag?s hand went instinctively towards his blaster, only to find that it wasn?t there. He saw both Tasha and Ganner relax visibly when his hand came up empty. He turned to Kyp, ?Would you mind lending me your lightsaber for a few minutes? There?s something I need to dispose of?.?

Seeing the peculiar look in Jag?s eyes and understanding what it meant, Kyp gave Ganner an evil smile. ?Sure, just give it back when you?re done? and if you make a mess, you?re cleaning it up.? He handed Jag his lightsaber and sent a mental warning to Mara, though she didn?t need it to know what was going on. Thankfully Ganner was still so out of it that he didn?t pick up on any of this.

As Jag walked slowly towards him, Ganner turned quickly to Mara, only to see her turn and leave the room, saying ?I?m gonna find Ben.? As she said this, she turned to face the occupants of the room one last time, her face stone cold. ?And if he has any spice on ?im, Ganner won?t be the only one having an intimate chat with the end of a lightsaber.? Ganner watched helplessly as she left, then turned back to face Jag, wishing Mara had just left him the blaster; it would?ve been quick and less painful to be shot.

Jaina looked up as the doors opened once again, revealing yet another ?visitor? come to see her and Jacen. What she saw, however, shocked her. Anakin, her younger brother, had just walked into the cell, a nervous look on his face. Jaina realized that this could be her only chance.

He just stood there, as if he didn?t know why he had come. He took in the room with a single, measuring glance, as if he didn?t remember it from the last time he was here. He hadn?t come to see them in a long time, though Jaina couldn?t really recall how long they had been in here.

I see no Jacen and Tenel Ka, or Jag and Jaina...

And it's getting confusing. I'm gonna read that again tommorow, when I'm fully awake.

I wrote this a while ago, as in more than three months ago, and now that I'm re-reading it, even I'm getting confused.

I don't know what I was thinking...or if I was even thinking at all!

Sorry, I'll have to try to work this out so the story starts making sense again and I can write in the couples.

No, you're right. It's actually really sad when I don't understand it. I probably should have said that differently; I understand it, I just don't understand why I wrote it like that.

Brain is fried from staring at Comp. all day and not enough sleep. And it's only 8:45 where I am...

Well, I shouldn't be suprised. I stayed up late last night reading Trickster's Queen by Tamora Pierce. It's about the Lioness's daughter. Bet you've never heard of it.

Nope, I've never heard of it; what is it?

When I get back from school tommorow, I'll reread it, and try to understand it.

Good luck; it's best to just to read it, and not try too hard to get anything out of it. At least, that's how it works for me.

C3P0_R2D2, I own both Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen. I really liked both of them. But I have to agree that they are rather hard to understand. I had to read them both twice but it wats well worth it. They're awesome.

Yeah, my friend got that phrase somewhere and has used it ever since.

 

I don't claim to own any of the quoties I put up, like about the buckle up or not being drunk if you can lie on the floor. I get all that stuff from different websites, so it's not unusual that other peoples have heard them b4.

I'm still trying to sort the next post out for this story, so it's gonna take a while. I was considering making it all just a dream, but I absolutely hate it when other author's do that just to take the easy way out (no offense to anyone who writes like that). So I decided against it.

Wow it's been a while. Nice to see new faces!

Okay everyone, I have some very bad news.

Ready?

I won't be posting again until June, due to how crazy my life has gotten, what with Finals coming and all my end of the school year stuff being pressed on me. Sorry; I won't be able to post, though I'll still be reading other people's stuffs.

This is also a little revision time for me with writing. What I mean is, during the next few months, until June, I will be revising and editing ALL of my stories here, as well as continuing a story I've been working on secretly. When I come back, I will re-post all my stories new and improved, with more detail and less plot issues.

PM me if you want me to send you a PM when I get back. If you want, I'll include links to any of my redone stories for you.

If you want a PM, LET ME KNOW! Also, if you want me to send you links, tell me which ones you want. It'll make it a little easier on everyone I think.
