Let me get this straight, after 15 theres still no lego set based on the Geonosian arena, but as soon as a marvel movie features an arena we get a set based on it right away`

    Why lego, why?

Regarding the sets quality, i like the figures, but the color palette really puts me off. Wont be getting these

Guys, I'm sorry to be that person but as a long time collector it's been doing my head in, it's Lego not Legos! Saying Legos is like saying sheeps or mooses :p

On a side note... I've always thought the plural of 'moose' should be 'meese', like it is for the word 'goose'.
Well, not always thought. I had a bit too much to drink on my last night out and I got weird. [face_shhh]

Goose is a native English word whose irregular plural goes back to ancient umlaut rules. Moose is a modern loan from an Algonquian language.
I know you weren't serious, but I couldn't pass this by without comment. :p :-B

Thought umlaut was made up until I googled it-

It kind of bugs me when companies (or even writers or filmmakers) introduce made-up words and then insist that their plural form is the same as their singular. I mean, I know Lego is Danish, so maybe making the plural of Lego be Lego makes sense in Danish (I don't know Danish but if it's anything like Swedish or German then the plural system must be a hot mess), but it sounds goofy.in English IMO. It makes it sound like it has no plural at all because it's an uncountable noun, like it isn't even available in definite and permanent units.

Like: "how much of Lego do you own?" Or walk up to the toy store and say, "Hi, I'd like three quarts of Lego." "Sorry sir, but we only sell Lego by the gallon."

So... that's my personal justification for saying Legos. But yeah, I now it's supposed to be "Lego."

If we're really bein' English here it should be spelled "Legoes" because it ends with an "o," but that's a whole other gripe. :p

Lego, noun, not to be confused with the verb "to leggo" meaning:
    1. To surrender or relinquish, esp. under duress, a toaster waffle, or;
    2. (chiefly hip-hop) to be underway, to incipiate (particularly the profligate indulgence of alcohol or booty-poppin') E.g. "I don't see how you can hate from outside of the club, you can't even get in. Ha ha ha, now leggo." - Chris Brown, "Look at Me Now"
From Latin leggare, leggatus "to turn up, to ball hard."

Actually according to LEGO themsleves, they prefer you say either LEGO sets or LEGO bricks instead of LEGOs or just LEGO. :-B

"We would sincerely like your help in keeping it special."

Lol, and I would "sincerely like" their help in making Legos free but it looks like we're both gonna have to be disappointed.

You know, I'm actually surprised there haven't been any Lego socks.

I'm glad you're here. I have a question for you as an Englishman:
Do the words 'moose' and 'elk' refer to the same animal for you?

I agree on the Geonosis arena, I've wanted a set based on that for years.

Regarding the color palette - it matches the movie I find it quite appropriate :D
