This is pretty much all I needed to post yesterday:

I like that I threatened to virtually knife and arm wrestle people who hate ROTS during the course of our viewing. And then I claimed to hate it about 500 times while sobbing. Also I demanded in all caps that Obi-Wan and Anakin A) get married and B) make out. So, pretty much an average day for me.

 

How can ANYONE hate ROTS? It's among one of the best Star Wars movie. Top three, in my humble and twisted opinion

Hey guys! Just from the few posts I caught here and there, sounds like you all had a great time with the viewing last night!

I got home about 30ish minutes in but had been really busy all day and I was way too tired to post or really even watch. Actually, I also came in here to say:

Regarding the Saturday viewing...

Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to back out. I am entering another really busy period and I just don't think I can carve out the 2+ hours this weekend (or anytime soon, for that matter). So I wanted to let any Saturday viewers know now so you don't have to factor me in regarding a start time. I can't remember who all said they might be watching Saturday, but the ones I remember at the moment are Bail B. Baobab, Valency Jane, Huttese 101, Dandelo, and maybe Ezon Pin? Who knows, maybe you guys can just go back to AOTC as VJ suggested if that's what you want to do. Anyway, sorry I can't join you, but I'm sure I will be able to join in some other group viewing... of something...at some point.... (how's that for lack of specificity, lol?!)

Special shout out, , and apology for Bail B. Baobab as he is the one who specifically set up/suggested Saturday when he found out I couldn't make last night's. I appreciate it, my friend , and am sorry it won't work after all!

 

THIS. I can't agree more. There seriously needs to be more PT centric stuff from the films. I get that there is a fair amount of TCW stuff with them on it, but I wish they made more of an effort to balance out all of the OT merch with stuff from the TPM, AOTC, and ROTS specifically.

Also, thanks for tagging me in two of your posts last night Sepra. Reading through the whole thing was great stuff, y'all are hilarious.

OK guys, I gotta vent right now: I feel like my life situation somewhat sucks. The problem is, everyone I talk to agrees with me that things are not being run correctly, except for the people who have the biggest (read: roof over my head) impact on my life. I have no clue what to do right now. If anyone can help me I'd be happy to explain more because I really dont know what I am doing and need any sort of help imaginable.

The way the light coming through the window Reflects off of the arm is really well done. That is amazingly photorealistic for 2004-2005.

 

I agree. That cgi is absolutely beautiful. It really shows the PT attention to detail.

 

ROTS gets better everytime I watch it. I know some consider A New Hope to be George's masterpiece but ROTS is his magnum opus imo.

 

Sup. Anybody else feel like the whole world has been slimed?
