A game.
I'm in a 24 hour hackathon and way out of my depth. Another group have remade Bamzooki. (Uker's will know what I mean).

Anyway basically have made a JavaScript game with a HTML canvas the problem is when I load it the background "floor" appears and the guy but then when I move the guy the background floor tile disappears. I've created a workaround with the floor being made the background but the tile still appears and then disappears when I move.

Code? Help?

 

@Valency Jane I can see them if I want but those Hux/Kylo images on the previous page were bordering on "please no one notice"

 

Bamzooki was amazing back in the day! I haven't though about it in years.

I always remember one time when I watched it with my sisters in the morning, at a holiday cottage, the first day we watched the Lion King 2 as well.

We even downloaded the creature maker and made our own, though it had trouble walking.

 

No "dodgy" looking bamzookis allowed! They agreed that before they made it.

@DarthAnakin96 Made a better workaround. Work can continue now- adding bullets to the guy and maybe robots for him to shoot or a big spider boss, naturally.

Hell no to Reylo.

Kylux is acceptable for all the reasons Eves and Amjs mentioned.

 

You know, I actually don't really care all that much about any of the pairings/potential pairings from the ST one way or the other, although I don't really want anyone who's not already evil to actually end up with Kylo because then it'll mean we're going Redemption Arc (or something awful like Rey goes Darksider). Like, I like the cast a lot and I think they're all good looking but, meh. I'm not all that invested in their romances.

Apart from that I just find Kylux to be hilarious mirroring. And also I kinda worry about the hardcore Reylo shippers if Rey actually does end up being Kylo's relative.

Eh, the same thing will happen to the Reylos that happened to the Harry/Hermione shippers which just means they'll continue to write fanfic.

I don't care if a single romance pops up on Star Wars ever again, but if there is a romance I hope to god it's not Reylo.

On the other hand, if Reylo does happen, no one can ever tell me Anidala was the worst romance in Star Wars...

 

Kylux has the cat going for it, I'll give you that.

Yeah but at least Harry and Hermione weren't revealed to be blood relatives! LOL I mean, she married his best friend, but that's a lot different than "she's your actual cousin" or whatever. Although yes, you are correct, I'm sure they will continue to write fanfic.

Re: the bolded, this is exactly where I'm at. I just don't really care at all. Like, if they want to pair up Finn and Rey or whatever, then fine, but...eh. I don't know if I'm just too old or burned out on Star Wars pairings by now or what, but I'm just not all that invested one way or the other.

As someone who got into Star Wars based on a shipping obsession, I'm probably one to talk but... I really don't care about any other romantic relationships. Han and Leila leave me cold, and Finnrey or Stormpilot are my preferred if we have to have a relationship, but I'm pretty lukewarm about that too. I suppose it's Star Wars so there will be one, but I don't want them just so we can breed more Skywalkers.

 

Call the UN and get them to give Jane an award.
