LOL I've seen that word a few times here in different contexts and I was confused. I know it's British slang. So it means the same thing in Australia? :p

Americans know what spunk is. Or at least this one does.

I'm bored. We need a Topic to discuss.

Also, good morning AprilMayJune. You get an extra special personal greeting today for reasons I'm not quite clear on. Enjoy.

Off the top of my head:
    LOTR
    GoT
    Interstellar
    Amélie
    A Clockwork Orange

And many, many more. I love listening to sountracks when I'm reading or writing.

On the bright side, Anti-PT Team 6 got another thread going sour locked. Seriously. Where do these random people who never go to the PT Section unless it's apparently to antagonize come from?

Is it really? Clearly I'm out of the loop. Again. :p

Maybe it has something do with with different parts of the country? Idk, its not commonly used anyway, but I've only seen it used in the context of, "That kid's got a lot of spunk," as in outgoing character, nerve, pizzaz (now there's a word that should be used more often), etc. I swear I never heard any of my classmates, at any grade level or even now, say spunk/spunky; maybe its just gone out of style. :p

In other news, got the hardcover of ROTS at a book sale; I had to save it when I saw it just sitting there on the shelf.
I mean I have the paperback version already, but I figured why not get the hardcover too. :p :-B

Hm. Maybe its just not a thing in the northeastern states? Since Seagoat, you and I all had no idea it was slang for that? [face_dunno]

Idk, ugh, I've never hated school as much as I do this semester. In fact, I've loved school up till now. Still have 3 research papers to get through today & summarize for this blasted project Tues. And a 10 page paper & 5 page paper coming up for my history class. I so, so feel like telling my profs off & burning my textbooks; none of this matters anyway.

If any of y'all in school are suffering as much as I am with y'all's workload, please tell me. :p
EDIT #1: :D That she does Dags. If I could like your post more than once I would.
Leia, Luke & Han in ANH esp. also stick out in my mind as having a lot of spunk. :)

EDIT #2: Now I want to try using the word spunk in class when describing a character from a movie, T.V. etc. & seeing if I get strange stares or nods & agreements. [face_thinking] If I do I'll report back my findings. :p
