first the droids go in, to 'bargain for Captain Solo's life

alright...fine. I guess, Luke will just go and rescue them later


then Leia goes in trying to rescue Han...it's an ambush...again, alright, fine.


Then, Luke does a Heath Ledger's joker and basically sighs to himself "want something done, just do it yourself..."

and saves the day.

In short...Luke should have just done what he eventually did in the first place...it might have stopped his sister being molested by a huge space slug, anyway


oh and Lando (Guidman) was there...for some reason.

You don't understand how jealous I am of people who got to be kids or teens when the PT first came out

The earliest Star Wars film i was old enough to see in theaters was freaking Clone Wars, but I didn't see it in theaters, so my first was TFA, I was 2 when ROTS came out so I couldn't see it in theaters, but remember still seeing the marketing and tie-in games a couple years later when I was like 5

Even going back and seeing the hype in the lead up to TPM seems absolutely special, regardless of feelings on the ST I loved the hype throughout 2015, but the PT being the first since the OT, and the first movie in 16 years was a once in a generation type of hype

 

I 100% agree with all this and also sending in the droids first was wild

Leia did it as a sorta hail mary with R2 in ANH to get it to Obi-Wan but she was captured and didn't have a choice

Luke was a jedi and probably the only guy who could stand up to Jabba on his own merit while Han has been captured for months

And Luke is like LOLL 3PO is gonna be so pissed if I send him and R2 here by themselves

 

I was 16, when that Clone Wars movie came out. I was babysitting my brother and cousin, and I took them to see it.

 

Or they could have let Han die.
