ST Rey & Kylo Ren in Episode IX

Of course. But that comes with hoping bodies. In Matt Smith, as a way to get to Rey. That doesn't work, so Kylo time.

I see your sibling rivalry and raise it to one sibling being angry af that the other sibling caused her to be abandoned as a child and grow up without her family, tried to kill their uncle when he found out, then killed their dad in front of her before she knew and tried to kill their mom. Oooh, that would make for a good fight!

Funny that Rey handled that exactly as a sister would. "Ew, put a shirt on already!"

 

Dark Side Rey looks really good, at the end of the trailer... Especially when wielding that cool double-blade lightsaber!


So what more epic twist can come up then - Rey turns dark, seduced by none other than Ol’ Sheev, and the one to save her is Ben Solo... Heralding the former Kylo Ren as the true Skywalker / Last Jedi...

 

Hard to judge based on one brief image, but she looks possessed

 

I don't know about clone of Rey but isn't it much more likely if they go down that route that Rey is the clone of the actual original? That in some way could actually make some sense as the real person did training while the fake person is able to unconsciously channel that power. Rey's flashes of memory are from the original which is why it's all a jumble. When Rey asks the darkness about her parents she gets nothing but an infinity of herself could be interpreted retroactively as she has no parents because she is a clone.

 

I think this is a vision that Kylo is being shown by the Oracle

To be fair isn't that what we really do in this thread? We at least are more civil then we used to be. We all agree that we are not going to change our minds about where we stand but we are still going to tell each other how we feel about it.

 

Well, we do have the quote from JJ stating their force connection runs deeper than anyone realizes.

 

Their pasts being shown to be connected would be the new/different direction Ridley mentioned from the last one; something new to 'mine' (excavate) in her relationship with Kylo Ren; she also said more information about Rey's parents is coming so that people will finally know what the 'dealio' is; and that it was the 'right timing' with 'all the right pieces falling together' in her opinion. Had they set it up better they could have had their cake and ate it too with a form of reylo....

With the good rey being a clone of the evil rey...who was either created or working for sids...she doesnt tell kylo though...she would have been the one to turn kylo to the dark side.....shes there the night ben was going to launch the attack on lukes jedi school...a huge battle breaks out luke mortally wounds her. Luke has his breakdown and hides on ach to ..kylo and a few others(kor) flee...evil rey dies in his arms...thus leading to him finding and leading the fo..no snoke...hes the head honcho of the fo at the start of the trilogy....not a manbaby...fully in charge...but things change when good clone rey is discovered....and the more kylo finds out about what sids had been doing and planning for his fallen lover

 

If evil Rey is a clone will her name be Reey? Her being a clone fits in with the cave sequence in TLJ.

 

If MSW is correct then Finn and Jannah are going to be brother and sister. This gives Finn his happy end epilogue and gives one surprise sibling pairing. I doubt J.J. also goes for another sibling or cousins attempt beyond that.

There will be more to Rey’s story and tie to this family but I’m not convinced it’s going to be about her realizing she has a brother or cousin.
