(2) In reading the original thread, I have learned that indeed, RoN got to her first. My world is again tainted! However RLR shall forever (to my knowledge) be the first project she did her recordings for and otherwise her debut. So nyaaaah.

(3) Where are her MP3s? (There's one about "Anolo, the teacher is dead", but where's the ones where she ripped off Natalie lines from TPM and interviews? I was sorta looking forward to hearing those again. Can't find 'em! Tainted again!

Adam, go back to the commentary she did and hit your reload button (F5 for short) They will all be there...you just may have to wait for them to all download. There should be a total of 5 mp3s. 3 from the original batch and 1 additional audition and blooper that also appear on the mp3 of the week page.

Not that I'm a mod or anything, but please lets not talk about kittens in here. I know two people who are a little sensitive to this particular subject at the moment. No offense Adam.

A bit of both Adam--my voice is almost on the same tone level as her's (her's is a bit lower I think), so what I have to do is plug in her voice characteristics. For one thing...I'm Canadian so I have to add a touch of an American accent in places, and then the way she says a few sounds I imitate. But I sound a lot like her without doing anything to my voice too.

Too bad Elizabeth can't come to DragonCon.

I've looked at that Elizabeth Ascot commentary several times, and I just don't see those links to her audition files coming up. I even hit F5.

Are you sure those things loaded up right?

 

Scribe, it sounds like you're version of IE or Netscape is not configured to play embedded sound files. The embedded files should load up and you should see something like a small quicktime or media player in between each paragragh that doesn't contain a picture.

If you don't see them, go ahead and use the links I posted above and download them directly to your machine.

And yeah, it's a shame Bellyup can't make DragonCon, much less come down to visit. But you missed her last night, she came to the online meeting and we could all hear her plain as day She'll hopefully make the next online meeting 5/11.

Anyone know what kind of fan film events they have there? Do they have some kind of fan film festival -- and if so, how does one submit?

I might get my flick playing in, like, a VCR in a guest booth, but I'm wondering if there's anything a little more upscale.

Matters of the Force is having a fan film competition. They are the Star Wars organizers for DCon. You can find a link to their page on dragoncon.com or just do a search on yahoo or something. I think the rules and stuff have been posted, not sure.

But we will be having an audio drama panel...so at least what we're up to will be covered. Nathan from 2nd Strike will be there along with Pam (RoN Director), Michael (RoN actor) and Scribe (RoN script writer).

Well remember now, I just use what you all give me. Out of everyone, Scribe justs so happens to do the most "extra noises/talking" of everyone. I'd say Jeremy is right behind her...and his time is coming. In fact, I think his is in a week or two. Of course, John is coming up too and his is hilarious. I don't think I've really had that many myself. But if I do hear any I'll post em up.
