For collectors, select Star Wars Lego sets are on sale in celebration of May the 4th at Lego Stores. Just noticed while I was here. They were not sure how long the sale would last.
Our bathroom remodels, backyard demolition, and my dead car caused major anguish and stress for myself and our family these past couple of weeks. Ugh. I'm glad all of these stressors are finally resolved, or coming to a resolution soon. Whew!
I am sorry that the experience was less than awesome, but I am SO glad to hear it is coming to a close for you guys!
Since we have the little one, we didn't watch any live fireworks this year. I watched the NBC Macy's Fireworks Spectacular. The part where Pitbull "sang" was horrible, but the fireworks part was good. @FanForced's review "Where's the 1812 Overture?" Maybe live fireworks next year when Logan isn't so much a toddler...
He still might not enjoy the noise too much even at toddler+1 years old. I would recommend watching them from a distance or bringing earplugs / headphones.
He loves loud noises. Drums...banging a spoon on a bowl...yelling for no particular reason. If you'd like, I can drop him off at your place for a couple of hours and you can enjoy all the noisiness that this 2.5 year-old can make. I'm the one who needs earplugs! lol!
So I started my new job yesterday. I'm not Internal Communications Coordinator for the City of Westminster. Yippee! After about 8 months of searching for a new job (due to the old company being acquired by DaVita), I've found a new workplace. My hope is that yesterday was my last first day. If I can retire from here, that would be great.
I know I have been pretty quiet on here. I am in school this month and likely into the first couple of weeks of November. I still try to stay in the loop though!
Having a sleeping 3 month old and a spoiled cat in your lap makes it hard to stay awake. I love my new job! I started Friday.
I finished my studies. It was supposed to be wrapped up weeks ago, but I have passed and I can now nerd again! Yay!!!
