I tried the second season and from the get going they are dealing with multiverse crap.
My reaction is that if we still not feeling superhero fatigue with excessive ( and repetitive) content, they'll make darn sure we will

    Again-
I looked it up, the stuff they're adapting in season 2 was written in 2006. Comics have been doing multiverse stories for decades. It's just one of many tropes in use, and if you're feeling fatigued, you should probably diversify your consumption.

Part 2 of the season has launched this past week.

Seeing the Lizard League take down the B-team was pretty intense, especially as we start to see their powers begin to hit their limits. And we get a positive twist on what seemed like the cliche with Peter Cullen's character.

Rex's reaction to Cecil beaming in was hilarious as well. [face_laugh]

    Finished up the latest season.

    **** man.
Mark and Debbie went through the absolute wringer there. Both season finales he's gone through a terrible experience, it's like, give the kid a break Kirkman. :p

I did appreciate the meta gag about animation tricks, especially since the animation in the finale was fire when it needed to be.

So, Nolan is getting a redemption arc? After all that?

Season 3 was great. And the soundtrack for each season keeps getting better and better.

So, I really do like this show but, I mean, it's one thing to be violent but it's another to draw this out sooooooooooooooooooooo long. It's not entertaining, it gets old.

    Anyway...

I expected Eve to die, I did not expect her to be reborn. Guess she couldn't heal Mark.

Um, burn Conquest's body? How? Of course they are not going to. I'm sure that's a good choice.

    So, the lion-guy won? Wow.

I am up to Invincible's fight with Conquest.... enjoying the season so far but I have to echo VadersLaMent's comment above.

Conquest's beating of Mark went on SOOOOO long I found it became tiresome and strained credibility. I know Mark's impossibly durable and strong but at some point, it's tedious and strains credibility even on a show where you have (as with any superhero show) suspend disbelief from the start. And the thing is, there is no way Mark takes that beating and then is in shape to put Conquest down, even with Eve's help. I know that is something of a manga cliche, but again, at some point, you're just gonna be too wrecked to come back.

Mark's anger at Cecil is also straining credibility for me. Not that Cecil is an angel - far from it. But when you look at the millions of deaths that are being caused by people with grudges against Mark...well...it just feels like Invincible has no moral high ground to stand on. For me at least.

One "practical" question. When Mark and Eve were talking about moving in together, it was suggested that Eve simply "build them a place", another "tree house", but Eve questioned where they would put it. Couldn't Eve, with her powers, easily make a stack of gold bars, or a bag of diamonds? Not enough to crash the price or cause economic turmoil, but enough to buy a plot of land, or their own place? For that matter, to make her family's life a lot easier (Yeah, she has issues with her parents, I know).

    Well...

It appears Eve's ability to do something other than form pink shapes is limited to serious traumatic events.

    Is it though?

Eve does have powers like, say, Green Lantern, to create solid energy constructs (the pink things she makes). However, while they don't make very creative use of it, I thought Eve's power also involved her being able to manipulate/change/transmute matter, just not organic matter (with that last bit appearing to be changing, at least when she is under extreme stress). During her fight with conquest, didn't she make the air super dense? Turn air to water at one point? I believe she has built structures before, or repaired them. She "made" her tree house, didn't she? Granted, the writers haven't shown much imagination regarding all the many ways she could use those powers.

He's literally been leveling up for two seasons now. Training training training for the Viltrimite invasion. I thought the fight was great. He's like the son of Superman....he's essentially Kryptonian.

Overall, I did think the gore is getting to be a bit much.

Eve's transformation made sense to me. I honestly thought that's what her original conversation with Cecil was about--she was going to heal herself or show up and heal Mark or something.

That said, I really didn't like that Angstrom came back. They had already established that the other heroes are useless against Viltrimites, so I don't know why they needed to incapacitate the other heroes. The show had also already made points about his role in the tremendous collateral damage from these fights, so I don't know how necessary the Evil Alternate Marks were, either. I sincerely hope that this villain doesn't come back any more. Having a more thought out fight against Conqueror would have been preferrable to me.
