TV Discussion Robot Chicken Star Wars: Episode III (DVD Out Now!)

The Sunday in the Board Room with George feature was hilarious. It was a side of George I've rarely seen. Him opening the doors and singing happy birthday was too much. And talking about crashing the bosses heyblibber was pretty funny. Apparently George admits that Boss Nass was too much. lol

Oh, and the bluray video quality is top notch. All the little details on the puppets are crazy!

 

Just ordered the DVD last night. Can't wait to get it.

Finally watched it.

AWESOME. Even better than the second volume. I need to get off my butt and get the first volume now. This was just so good. So many good clips. More later...

 

I finally got to see this and like the 'Family Guy' specials its the best stuff from 'Robot Chicken' in a while. I liked this one better than the 2nd special but not as much as the first. They should take an episode of TCW like 'Rookies' and voice over the clones with Bob A. Feet's just for fun.

 

I've only watched the first one; really want to watch the other two though... and by the looks of this thread it seems they're both as good as the first. I was wondering if they'd do anything relating to Clone Wars at some point.

 

They have sorta in the regular show. There was a sketch in the first part of the current season (the 2nd half will air in the fall as normal) where two sheep ignited lightsabers and dueled each other. Then at the end of it they threw up the real 'The Clone Wars' title screen.

 

Oh cool; didn't know that. I really want to watch the proper series; I've only watched the Star Wars episode. I'm not sure though which channel its on over here in the UK... maybe FX.

 

It used to be on Bravo late at night along with the other Adultswim shows, but since Bravo was shut down, I haven't really checked.

 

Hmmm; I'll have to check it out at some point. Though I don't watch much TV anymore... might be better to buy a DVD... though I have no idea if you can buy the series over here.

 

The first special was just a collection of older skits thrown together, with some new ones sprinkled in. The second and third are much better, as they use entirely original sketches.

My votes for the best are the "Drag Racing AT-ATs", "Bob Goldstein", and "I Have Altered the Deal".

 

My favorites are the Death Star Escalator, The Emperor's Bad day (losing luggage on Death Star II), and Dr. Ball.

 

My favorites are; Boba Fett has a little fun with Han in Carbonite, Max Reebo's greatest hits, Storm Trooper Gary on bring your daughter to work day, and Boba Fett trying to play catch with Dad.

 

Oh my God. I forgot about that one!

Ah didn't know that; it was all new to me because I hadn't watched the normal series.

Anyhow really want to watch the other two episodes of this.

 

I've found myself watching the Yarael Poof/Jedi Council sketch a lot, for some reason. It is so good!

"Listen, Yaddle, I'm gonna have to borrow your car."

"Um... in the shop, it is?"

"I just saw it downstairs."

"Oh.... *mumble* insurance must have... *mumble*"

 

Yeah that is a great sketch. I wish they'd put that much effort into the regular show still. The only good episode last season was Kramer Vs. Showgirls. Check out the 'How Andy Treats His Toys' sketch. xD

 

I've actually never seen the real show. I'd heard of it and knew the premise, but I had never seen a sketch until I saw a Star Wars one on Youtube a couple months ago. Now I have SW Specials II and III on DVD. lol
