Why? Would you book a flight explicitly for the purpose of seeing it? I could save you some money. Send me $250 and I will rush you your own personal copy today (plus $75 S&H) complete with commentary.

Probably never. Although it would be really funny to subject people to a Star Wars marthon on a flight to Asia.

In general, airlines do not like to show films that have explosions or much violence. I think seeing the Invisible Hand break apart over Coruscant might make push passengers who are scared of flying over the edge.

? I saw Mr and Mrs Smith on a Plane, as well as that new Jet Li movie where he acts like a dog.

Yea, why not star wars? on an 8 hour flight, I would much rather watch that than 'Madagascar' or some romantic comedy.

My sister flew to Singapore last year and she said that everyone had their own tv and hundreds of movies to choose from. She did say that she had the choice of Star Wars, I'm not sure which ones though.

    what airline?

I had about 5 or 6 films to choose from, all recent ones, but no RotS. which came out around the time of my other choices.

JetBlue rules. Nothing beats DirecTV in every leather seat. That's why I hate fyling the dinosaur airlines (Delta, United, etc).
