I'm a SW fan, an i really like them all. But after seein ROTS, i felt like it was "rushed". Like, all of a sudden, anakyn becomes bad, in five seconds luke and leia are born, etc. Like it should have been another film. I started seeing them all again, and it looks a little better if you see all 3 prequels together, but the sence on ROTS alone, is that. Too fast. Besides that, i liked ROTS a lot.

I think what you consider a weakness is actually one of its strengths. But, I agree, some of those deleted scenes probably should be in there, most of all the first Padme/Obi meeting, the Rebellion scenes, and the Qui-Gon scene.

I dont know about the WHOLE movie but the end seemed rushed, because it just ends in Obi-Wan giving Owen and Beru Luke.

I'm not so sure. It's 2.5 hours, and that felt just right to me. I think it seemed fast because it held your attention so well. (Although I was a little sad when we got close to the ending because I was never again going to see a SW movie for the first time.)

All Star Wars films have a fast pace, and move with great speed. That is part of what made them popular in 1977. George doesn't waste time, he moves from scene to scene.

I felt that Revenge of the Sith was fine. In times of pacing, and editing it worked really well (unlike Attack of the Clones which is in need of another edit.)

Every good movie seems rushed the first time you see it.

The film isn't 2.5 hours. It's 2hrs and 14minutes. It's actually a minute shorter than the Episode II DVD.

I honestly don't think we should expect anything added to this DVD when it hits with the running time it has.

That time is without credits. I don't count credits when it comes to films.

The Original Trilogy is way shorter than the Prequels...

Comparing it to TPM and AOTC, ROTS does seem fast.

TPM was slow, mainly because of 45 minutes on Tatooine
AOTC was slow for about 90 minutes
ROTS has a slow beginning up to the point of Locating Grievous on Utapau then it speeds up.

I remember telling myself after seeing AOTC, that the next movie is going to have to be like 4 hours if it keeps the same pace as the other films...It had a lot of content to put in, and only two and a half hours to do it...

I had the same feeling when I got out of my first viewing of ROTS. I think it's because I was a spoiler addict and had read most of the scenes before.

When I saw the movie, I couldn't help but thinking "Woah, that's so fast." Especially in the Dooku duel and when Ani decides to become a Sith (I've never seen a kid getting on his knees that quickly :p) It takes like 5 seconds for saying "I will do whatever you ask", right after he wondered "What have I done???", which personnaly cracks me up [face_laugh]

Maybe also it's because the two previous prequels were much slowlier compared to ROTS. I know I want to DIE during the Tatooine sequence of TPM [face_beatup]
