Was planning to watch Jurassic Park here tomorrow, but I'm going out to the movies. Really wanted to see Aquaman, but my friends want to see Vice instead. So I was outvoted, just like in the poll here, in which I voted for Blade Runner and 2001 lol.

Anyhow, I hope everyone who is watching the movie tomorrow has a great time. Jurassic Park is such an awesome classic.

Maybe I still feel like no doctor will ever be 100% right on everything, and arrogance could cause unnecessary pain or frustration for a patient.

Obviously though if a soccer mom comes in seemingly completely fine saying "my son has a bump on his head, I Google searched it and found out he has brain cancer, give him treatment" and its clear the kid just has a zit or something then yeah the doctor has a right to be arrogant then

and with all the **** he has had to put up with in his life that is in fact amazing.

Also, I forgot to tell you all that the counselor's daughter (the one helping me with school since I've been sick) got the flu today and she had to take her to the doctor, so I couldn't take any of the ACT today and will have to take all of them tomorrow. This is going to be catastrophic to my energy. Obviously I don't blame the counselor though, the flu is really dangerous if left unchecked.

These light role playing games can be fun. I chimed in to provide a possible contrast; if there is no opposition in the game, there is no game at all lol. I do feel that my contributions to this imaginary, make believe world might come across as too intense for some, but as I like to role play a Sith character, it seems only natural lol. Anyhow, just wishing you all well, and hope you continue to have fun.

On a personal note, IRL, it never ceases to amaze how I start watching the real life news again after I've quit doing so, when all it ever does is bring me down. Hopefully someday I will learn to stop doing that!
It's insane that I keep putting myself through watching all the horrible things that are going on in the world when I know how badly it upsets me and how it effects my mood. I'm going to start again today, and try to avoid this vicious cycle.

Spike Lee is an absolute legend.

 

Seems pretty far fetched. Why the hell would he want to? The constantly re-tinkering, creative authority that he is, I seriously doubt Lucas has any desire to step in as just one cook of many for the 3rd installment of a big mess for which, up to this point, he's had no part of. That just doesn't ring true at all. Yes, he did a small bit on Solo but that was more ceremonial in lieu of his lasting friendship with Ron Howard.

They guy opts out of Indy 5, involving career-long creative confidant, Spielberg, only to get his hands dirty with an near-infinitely further removed Episode 9? Yeah, sorry. Not buying it.
