I did? How was it phrased? Like about something specific or broadly? Lol Well whatever the case, thanks for actually honoring it then. Particularly given that I'm just some weirdo on the internet! :p

True, but you should never let a logical conclusion get in the way of a joke. Especially when it's at somebody else's expense, am I right @Prime Jedi? :p

Very nice indeed! Great idea to alphabetize too.
As @Dandelo had reminded me I forgot Gremlins, I began adding to my list. How did I forget Ghostbusters 2? Ouch. And it turns out I coincidentally added some of the same films that you have on your list, and then having just read yours, added a few more lol. Thank you for reminding me of them!

God dammit, I'm really itching to watch The Wizard of Oz now. *Rents off Vudu*

EDIT: Yo, what the actual ****? What did they do to get this kind of picture quality? Make a deal with Satan?

    *research ensues*

Warner Bros. made an 8K restoration of the film in 2009?! That'll do it. Hold up, next year is the 80th anniversary...

4K UHD is coming. Mark my words...

My typos are really starting to get on my nerves.

HOLY. The scene where the Wicked Witch leaves after Dorothy's arrival must have been timed perfectly! The actress had to be lowered down on fake floor and just a second later flames come pouring out through it. I honestly wouldn't be surprised of the actress suffered burns from that stunt.

Great list @Dandelo, though I have one question: is The Exorcist as scary as people say? I've heard people say that it's by far the scariest horror film ever, and i haven't watched it yet, so idk.

I've also seen people say that Poltergeist is one of the scariest horror films and when i watched it (back when I was like 12) it had stuff like the clown doll that freaked me out a little, but it felt much more like a family movie than a horror movie imo. Poltergeist was still a really good movie, but I think it being terrifying or whatever is way too overhyped. :p

well I agree with the director/author of the original book. I don't see it as a horror movie. I see it as a theological look at the unseen forces that plague our world and how each one of us deals with faith (or not)

by that end it's a fascinating look in the human psyche. Is it scary? if you are of religious mindset and believe that possession is real, then yes...just as watching a movie about a house fire would be scary. If you think Religion in general is a load of nonsense then no...you'd probably laugh and not think too much about the deeper meaning of the movie....not to sound patronising to non believers of course :)
