I'll have SOMETHING up tomorrow on www.svrf.org but all of our banners and flyers say the old url. I was going to put a redirect on there but I think you're still experiencing your technical difficulties as I cannot login.

 

We may be in the middle of unpacking, but we'll be there. I have Church in the morning, and since I'm on the fall festival committee (which happens in 2 weeks), I have to be there in the morning. I should be able to arrive at SacCon by about 10:30. What time does the Con start? I'm old and getting forgetful about some details.

DarthDikum has plans (helping a friend with some kind of filming). Zam13 will drop him off at noon and then head to the Con.

 

Ekim, LDV and I will be gone on Sept. 8th. Are you able to get a different day off for filming?

 

Aren't we meeting on the 8th?

 

We are supposed to be meeting that date as it is our regularly scheduled meeting date. We have lots to finalize on upcoming projects so will have to proceeed as planned with all members that are able to attend as we have been doing.

Quite flexible: just pick another Saturday this month. I have optional (non-committed) overtime available every Saturday this month (for the rest of the year, actually). October is totally booked solid on weekends for other stuff though, so October is OUT (of course I'll be at planning for and working Halloween Carnival) for a day at Roohoo's to film. It's just a matter of what is convenient for you. Tell me what works best for you. Besides, my costume alterations may not be done in time for next Saturday filming.

Oh, bye the way: Do you guys think I NEED to have Donna make the cloak ASAP, so I can wear it in the movie? Or is it not essential? Your opinion is important to me (matching green cloak is like $80 or $90- I want it, but do I need it right now?).

Woot!!! Love the pics!!! but who took the pics? It wasn't our official photographer was it? And wasn't our official photographer there today? hmmm? heh heh heh just kidding. I know the Sivads are not feeling well. Thank you for making an appearence!

For almost not having a table this morning, we did pretty good today. The table was a basic setup today because I wasn't able to steal the imperial shuttle, and bring all the stuff to set up the booth (card board cut outs, the SW dish, etc, etc). I will for Creation Con. I thank those who showed up today. There were certainly plenty who didn't. But for those who did show up, and I am guilty of this too, we didn't do a very good job meeting & greeting the public. At next Saturday's meeting, I will be going over etiquette and protocol for working the table. On a grade scale, I would be giving us a C- for our performance today. If we are going to work another big convention such as Creation Con, we need to sharpen up alot. Again, Saturday, we will all be going over the rules for working the convention.

Still, we had fun today!

 

Those pics rock! Good job showing up and giving it your Rogue best! We will sharpen our communication skills for the next deployment (sorry I wasn't there to meet and greet ). What good is saving the galaxy if nobody like you?! The set-up looks great, and I got a little choked seeing Rogue 1 and Princess Tina in full regalia...

 

But not as CHOKED UP as our friendly neighborhood Stormtrooper...

I totally forgot about Sac-Con... With all the things going on, I totally forgot about it! Anyways I wanted to say sorry... I'll do better next time to remembering...

 

We are glad to hear from you as we were worried when you didn't show up. You never miss so thought maybe something had come up - glad it wasn't an emergency or anything. Will see you at the next function. Tell Alex hi for us.
