San Diego, CA SDSWS Trip To Location Where ROTJ Was Filmed, March 8th-9th!

I am up for the mini fanfilm.... cool... so far we have two troopers too.

 

That would be great, a bunch of jedi, sith, stormtroopers, and earth people kill each other in a massive orgy of lightsabers and blasters!

 

can i bring my saber too!! i have an attatchment on my suit for one!!! yea!! since people say i'm too short for a stormtrooper, than i must be luke skywalker!!

i also have experiance with editing a star wars movie, plus software!! we could form a staff!!

 

jedi or jawa... i can do... we need a gonk droid!

 

Can we edit in a gonk droid post-production on the computer? Heck... can't we add just about everything afterwards into our little film by computer? I have a new computer that is good for doing films and will even burn DVDs.

 

Count me outta dis one.

**** I would really REALLY like to invite the 501st/Rebel Legion, and area fanforce chapters to this event. Thoughts on that please before I do it? I know some people have expressed that they would like a more intimate event for San Diego people only. I am of the opinion that "the more the merrier."

Well, I also have 3d experience, so I could add in almost whatever you guys wanted. Just don't make it too much work for me...

 

ok, so is this place all sand dunes? or are there places that are "much too rocky"?

That's probably a no on costumes for me...desert + black robes = long uncomfortable hours.

 

Not really Matt, I hear is is very cold there in March... you all should bring heavy jackets.

This sucks! Looks like I won't be able to make it. I have to be somewhere else until 5pm or so.

 

On what date? You could come out after 5pm on Saturday and stay all day Sunday.

 

Can't make it. It's Pinewood Derby Day on the 8th for the Cub Scouts. Gonna watch non-Pod Racers.

 

*sigh* All right...I guess I'll go! Plans have changed and I can come out Saturday!
