Shaak Ti in the Clone Wars

Jedi poo doo...........

 

I've always been a proponent for Ahsoka to go through some type maturing ceremony on Shili and for Shaak Ti to lead her through the changes. Or just simply a Separatist attack on Shili that involves having a native lead the clones in battle.

 

Why must all togruta have the same accent on planet Shili? All humans don't have the same accent on planet Earth. They did have Ashley Eckstein try some accents for Ahsoka but she must not have done very well with any accent as they told her just to use her normal voice.

 

As planets in Star Wars are equatable to nations in the real world, I don't mind the 'each planet gets an accent' philosophy, but what I find curious is that Jedi such as Aayla and Shaak Ti were raised on Coruscant - shouldn't they have Coruscanti accents like Obi-Wan?

 

Which is what I was getting at. Their logic for giving Aayla and Shaak Ti accents just doesn't make SENSE.

Trust me, next we're going to get a Gungan Jedi who speaks in Gungan Basic.

 

Funny, I didn't even notice an accent. It was a good episode. Here's looking forward to more Shaak Ti!

 

It sounded like she was muttering/whispering the words in some French accent if you ask me.

 

I really enjoyed her in season 3's premiere. Her model is by far one of the best yet, and I actually didn't mind her accent. I really liked her voice in TFU but for some reason I prefer this one. My only complaint with her is that she didn't see as much action as Obi-Wan and Anakin, I think she deserved more fighting scenes to prove how powerful of a jedi master she really is in her first appearance to the series. She's definitely my favorite character of this series and favorite model so far!
