Here's my low-key Sequel Trilogy fit, which takes a lot of liberties to make it flow. I.E.; Legends takes centerstage, Sequel Trilogy is very broad strokes. Operation Cinder was a plan issued by Gallius Rax, who intended to use it as means of sweeping aside those who would oppose his rule of a much smaller, but very Sith-loyalist Empire that worships Palpatine. It was actually opposed, and thwarted, by agents of Palpatine-on-Byss on several occasions. The Battle of Jakku is the definitive battle which sees Rax's fleet defeated by the fledgling Alliance of Free Planets, forcing its retreat into the Unknown Regions. Ultimately, its a drop in the pond, and mostly ignored by the wider Galaxy, the First Galactic Civil War rages on. The Galactic Concordance is signed in which the Empire and New Republic recognize each other as separate powers, and cooperate against Imperial Warlords, as a result of Rax's rampage across Imperial and Rebel worlds during Cinder, but its generally ignored whenever a more militant faction takes charge of the Imperial Ruling Council. During Cinder, the Acolytes of the Beyond transferred a lot of data over to the ancient Sith outpost of Exegol, beginning an operation to revive Emperor Palpatine, not knowing that Palpatine was actually recovering on Byss. Legends then mostly continues as normal. The First Order, remnants of Rax's armada, keeps building up in the Unknown Regions. They manage to take one of the three existing Megador-class Star Dreadnoughts, the SSD Supremacy, and finish its construction. Their secret leadership remains on Exegol, but the First Order proper remains unaware of them. Instead, they settle on another planet - Ilum. They mostly remain operating in secret, acting as just some wayward Imperial Remnant. In reality, they're siphoning resources for the construction of Starkiller Base, which they intend to use decapitate both the Imperial Remnant on Bastion and the New Republic, and later Galactic Alliance, and retake the Galaxy by storm. All the while experiments on the Palpatine clone continue, on a frozen moon, all while pretending to be merely be some part of the Empire of the Hand to the wider Galaxy. The experiment is abandoned, with much of the clones fleeing to the call of the entity 'Mother'. But one remains a success. A clone of Jacen Solo. The biggest success in cloning Force Sensitives since Galen Marek. Following the events of the Abeloth Crisis, the First Order, now fully under Snoke and a man believing himself to be Emperor Palpatine put their plans into action. Starkiller Base is fired during a Unification Summit on Hosnian Prime. The planet generally survives, as First Order scientists overestimated the yield of SKB, but the capital city is destroyed, alongside Chief of State Wynn Dorvan, leaving the Galactic Alliance leaderless. So we get to... The Force Awakens - The Resistance, a Black Ops group formed up by Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo, manage to take out Starkiller Base. Like Hosnian Prime, the planet Ilum largely remains intact, if a little damaged. Much of the machinery is still intact on there, although the First Order leadership relocates to the Supremacy. The Last Jedi - First Order fleets have emerged from the Unknown Regions. They hold major hyperlanes hostage through use of aging Mandator-class Star Dreadnoughts leftover from Shadow Hand. They've also found themselves allies in the forms of opportunists. The Eriadu faction has seized control of the Confederation, and Senex-Juvex has done so as well, pledging themselves to Supreme Leader Snoke. Kylo Ren's identity as Darth Caedus is used to attract the Centralist Party of the Galactic Alliance, a number of worlds secede to the First Order. Meanwhile, the Not-Yet-Fel Empire controls the New Territories, and is neutral. Likewise with the Corporate Sector and the One Sith in the Stygian Caldera. All three, not in exact coordination, hope to use the First Order-Alliance Conflict as a distraction. Some Moffs consider helping out the FO, particularly Lecersen, but Grand Moff Vitor Pellaeon remains on a soft pro-Alliance team. The Jedi Order are primarily helping the Alliance against the Knights of Ren, mostly around the Core Worlds. At the very tail-end of the Last Jedi, which is occurring as normal, Kylo Ren figures out his true identity as Darth Caedus and kills Snoke, seizing control of the First Order. The Rise of Skywalker - the death of Snoke, the destruction of the Supremacy, and Luke's sacrifice on Crait in direct succession have pretty much crippled the First Order. The remains are the Hux-Pryde Junta, still aligned with Caedus, roving around the Western Reaches in a single Star Destroyer. A handful of First Order Star Destroyers still control worlds like Jakku, Bespin and Endor, and the Confederation still remains, ran by an aging Tur Phennir. At the start of TROS, the First Order is kinda an afterthought. The Alliance is far more concerned with the resurgent Empire, Abeloth sightings and One Sith agents. Clone Palpatine's message from Exegol gives the First Order a major boost, as do the Xyston-class Star Destroyers, powered by a Sith alchemic merger of Kyber and Isotope-5. While they are a threat to any world that they reach, they are also extremely brittle, given the volatile nature of the Isotope/Kyber blend, allowing a well-placed laser cannon shot from even a lowly a starfighter to take them out. Still, things aren't looking good. In response, Jagged Fel takes the title of Emperor and claims the clone to be an imposter, sullying the Imperial legacy, aligned with the insane fanatics that carried out Operation Cinder against loyal Imperial worlds. This is enough to dissuade any Moffs from trying anything, and it leads to Lecersen's eventual arrest. The Galactic Alliance has regained much of the Core, throwing out the First Order cells active there, reclaiming Centralist worlds like Alsakan. After a duel on the moon of Endor, with Palpatine's own granddaughter, Jacen "Ben" Solo embraces the Light, and follows Rey to Exegol. At the same time, a major force including Imperial and Alliance Fleets, Chance and Lando Calrissian's merchant fleets, Natasi Daala and Booster Terrik, all show up to help the Resistance at Exegol. The clone Palpatine is beaten by Rey. Clone!Jacen does die as Ben in the movie, but him and Rey end up having Theron Solo, who would later have Ania Solo. Corellia is liberated by local resistance cells, and aligns with the Alliance, marking the end of the Confederation. The remainder of the First Order is quietly taken over by Darth Krayt, and placed back into hiding, or rebrand as Fel-loyal Imperials, biding their time until they can rise again.
During the Rebellion, beyond the Mon Calamari shipyards, the Rebels also had a secret shipyard at Nadiri, which was responsible for retooling captured Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers into Assault Frigates. Only twelve were created, seven of which were the single pronged I-class, one was a double pronged-I class, four of which were II-class assault frigates. They were considered too expensive to convert, and so when four II-class assault frigates were lost at Kuat, and then four I-class assault frigates were lost at Obroa-Skai, the class fell out of general usage. Another brief run of ships was the Defender-class Star Destroyer, which saw only four constructed before Thrawn disrupted the production. The subsequent redesign, the Nebula-class, was shuffled into the Fifth Fleet New Class, but even then the Nebula-class had a limited run of twelve ships, as the Fifth Fleet had Endurance-class warships as task force commands too. The New Republic had six identifiable fleets at the time of the Yuuzhan Vong War. Each numbered 500 warships, 75 of which were Star Cruisers or Star Destroyers. By this point the New Republic only had a handful of captured Imperial Destroyers in the NRDF. The Rebel Dream, Allegiance, Rejuvenator, for ISDs, and Protector and Corusca Fire. These were primarily grouped in the Fourth Fleet, which was charged with managing the retreat into the Core besides the Sixth Fleet. These fleets took the majority of the losses until the Battle of Fondor, which halved the First Fleet and damaged several task forces of the Fifth Fleet. A Seventh Fleet was briefly enacted, made up of ships borrowed from all six fleets, and held at Commenor, but it was folded into the First to hold Fondor. The New Republic expanded the six fleets to five thousand ship deployments by the time of the Battle of Coruscant. While the ratio of capital ships to escorts is in flux, at the end of the war, there were twenty Star Cruisers and Star Destroyers a fleet.
Maybe it's a stretch, but Imperial Advisor Bregius Golthan was, like Aloo and Greejatus a Dark Side Adept on the IRC. The link I have is that his flagship was the Vengeance (II perhaps) ISD, Jerec's former ship that he gave to the Reborn Palpatine as a gesture of loyalty. Golthan may have been in contact with Palpatine after Endor, and received said ship during his missions.
After Padme's death, Queen Apailana appointed Sache to serve as Naboo's senator, who retained Jar Jar as her secondary as she (like all of Padme's comrades) had deep respect for him and indeed a close friendship with the Gungan representative. Both retained the latter's naivety and obiscurity whilst all the while assisting Bail Organa, Mon Mothma and Garm Bel Iblis throughout the years as best they could. Both would retire from the Imperial Senate in 6 BBY, and were replaced by Pooja Naberrie and Jar Jar's teenage son Abso Bar Binks, who continued their works.
