Amph She wore a Dragon Tattoo: The Millennium Saga (Lisbeth Salander)

Regarding the Lisbeth characters, no one tops Noomi in my mind. She is Lisbeth Salander. A petite woman of whom could've easily been mistaken for a teenager. Rooney does a fine job, but it just seemed at times that she was pushing it a little too much. Regarding the Martin character, Stellan was certainly fine in his role. I guess for me it's a toss-up. As for the Mikael Blomkvist role, I'd definitely go with the Swedish actor, Michael Myqvist. While his role in Dragon Tattoo really put his name on the map, his performance in The Girl Who Played With Fire was just leaps and bounds for me.

I have that image of him arriving on the scene at the end of the movie after Lisbeth had been beaten up and bloodied by Zalachenko and you can read his thoughts a thousand times over just by the expression on his face. This fragile woman who'd previously saved his life and of whom he'd recently found out was the victim of a terrible rape by her guardian is barely clinging to life. You just know the s88t's about to go down in the next movie.

The actor passed away several years ago tragically.
