I've tried it but it isn't very good.
I hope it isn't too disturbing in wallpaper format and I also hope I will have a hi-res, clear version of that Vader pic. (That's my favorite Vader pic. )

Any chance you could be gently persuaded to create one for the Star Wars Musical Journey DVD that came out with the soundtrack? I'm sure it would be most appreciated by everyone.

I really like graphic design and I thought of working in it but there are two big problems: first, I think I have much to learn yet. And I'm a Hungarian and I think my possibilities are really limited here. There is no Lucasfilm in Hungary.

 

I just want to say, wow!!!!!!!!! I just visited your page and that is heaven!!, all those images, wallpapers and posters!! good job!! you are just amazing!! , congratulations on being this good at what you do!!!.

Excellent work on the CD cover, Simon! The theatrical posters look wonderful, but I think I like the Vader/Palpatine and Obi Wan wallpapers the best (putting the warmth of the Coruscant sunset behind Obi Wan's promo pic really makes that one)--again, with the use of only a few powerful images, the compositions are very strong. I like these a lot!

Very nice work Simon! I love them all. That last one could be a Christmas-like card. The posters look very much look like they could be actual movie posters. Did you ever consider running them through a filter to give them the painted quality that the old posters used to have?

I never tried to make them like they were paintings because I feel it's like some kind of... forgery. I respect the ones who can make paintings and that's why I don't try to simulate it. It would be great if I could make real paintings but I can't. So, my computer is my brush.

 

I think it is only a forgery if you let people think you painted it. Like if you take a picture of Luke, run it through a filter and say, "Check out my painting" and let everybody assume it is your own work.

If you ever checked out my earlier stuff I came right out and said I ran my photo manip through filter so-and-so, so there was no question that I didn't draw it. But now it is backfiring against me a bit. I am not using photos in my most recent creations and so I am now going to great pains to advertise that fact. LOL. Oh well.

Nice job on your stuff. I wish I could paint better also. wouldn't that be nice.

Very nice, I can see in the Episode 2 one you flipped Jango Fett so that his little antenna thing is on the wrong side now.
