Indi, IN SITH COUNCIL of INDIANAPOLIS

I will not be able to make the Sith Council meeting this Monday the 22nd.
I have to do a Final Presentation for one of my clases up at Butler at 7:30pm and I cannot get out of it. Why it is way over there and not on IUPUI Campus Ihave no idea. My professor just wants to make it hard on us I guess.
So I will meet the group who is going to the South Side later that night. Just PM or e-mail me for location and at what time.
Can't wait for Monday, I am ready to buy lots of toys!

 

Is there a plan of attack for Monday night? Are we all just going to hit TRU at midnight and go our own ways after that?

 

We are going to be holding a short meeting @ 6 PM. For those that can't make it till later, we'll wait for you. Mainly we will be getting a final head count and pairing off into groups to make sure we hit the entire city. We also will be exchanging cell #'s in order to stay in touch with each group. If TRU Greenwood's stash is of any indication (twelve pallets), there will be plenty of stuff that night.

 

I'm hoping to drop by for a few to meet some people, but plan to head home to play some serious PS2 before I head up to Toys R' Us.

Should be extremely fun.

 

If anyone is interested, Target has the Topps AOTC Trading Card Collectible tins out and for sale. There are 5 tins @ $19.99 each. I'm not a tin collector, but these are really sweet looking. Anyhow, you get 7 packs of cards in each tin, along with an oversized "megachrome" card of the character on the tin. These megachrome cards are only available in these tins. Tins include Jango, Anakin, Mace, Obi-Wan, & Dooku. With the 35 packs of cards I got all but 6 of the 23 different chase cards, but I was 6 cards short of a common card set. Anyhow, eastside Target had close to 10 tins left after I got my set, though I don't think there was a complete set left on the shelves (had to dig around to find the Obi-Wan tin).

 

Just got a report from some of the crew and the Brownsburg Wal-Mart is not selling the AOTC items until midnight, but you can load your cart up now and wait.

Why do I have a feeling you guys cleaned them out!!!

 

On Monday some us went a bit crazy and travel all around the city just to have fun. We stayed out to about 5am. But it was a lot of fun. We found everything that we wanted.
Brownsburg was one of our many Wal-Mart stops.

Ok so I'm looking for a Luminara and another Yoda (for a friend of mine in NY.) Anyone know where I can find either?

 

If I see any I will pick them up for you.
THese two figures along with the Royal Guard and TaunWe seem to be a little harder to find then the rest of the lot.

The Plainfiled Wal-Mart has the Jango Fett:Final Battle and Mace Windu: Geonosian Rescue.
They also have E2 Pez!

I have also heard that Darth Vader, Luke: Bespin, Geonisian w/ Massif, Orn Free Ta, and Qui-Gon are poping upat Wal-Marts and TRU's now.

Mace and Jango are awsome figs. If you are NOT spoiler free do not buy these figures yet!
Lets just say there are some neat features not mentioned on the package.

 

Ooooo Pez! That is one thing I do collect, Pez dispensers. Ok well the Star Wars and Garfield ones. Must...have...AotC Pez Dispensers.

Also, when I spoke with Amy Allen this weekend, she said the Hasbro booth had a mock up of the Aayla Secura figure and it should be due out in about 10 months. *sobs* I didn't get to see the mock up, nor do I think I can wait 10 months!

Vader, Luke, Jango, Mace, Massiff w/ Geo-warrior, Orn Free Ta, Qui-Gon, Rebel Soldier (w/ beard), Royal Guard, Luminara, Taun We, Anakin (hanger Duel), Dooku, Yoda, and many of the peg warmers.

 

The Wal-mart at 75th and Keystone had plenty of the new waves earlier today. I bought eight of the new ones.

Well so I did. got my Luminar (figures the week after she's here in town I finally find her figure) and an extra Yoda for my buddy in Syracuse. Thanks for the info!

 

Went to Indy today for a couple of job interviews. Only found stuff at the Martinsville Wal-Mart. They had Massiff, Qui-Gon, Orn Free Ta, and Endor Rebel Soldier w/ Beard. The only Collection 1 fig left (from the new wave) was one lone Mace Windu. I bought it, but there were at least two or three sets of the collection 2 figs this morning when I left around 8:45. They were hidden on the pegs (not in front) and you have to dig for them. Most were on the bottom towards the back.

 

Monday May 20th, is the next Sith Meeting!

I am a fairly new member of the Indy Knights. I am very interested in the Sith Council, as I have mentioned before. I read the post about Scalping and such. I too also hate scalping. I'm from Bloomington, and choices there are very limited. K-Mart never gets new figure waves in and neither does KB. The last time they had exclusives I had to go to Indy to get them cause they never came to Bloomington. The Manager said the "Demand was not high enough and you can always order from the Web."

Anyway, the best places to by figs here is Wal-Mart and Target, but rummor has it the Toy Managers at each store have joined the dark side and sell the figs out the back doors. New waves very rarely come to the area, and when they do, they are gone within one day.

This brings me to my question. I had job interviews last week in Indy and manged (although scattered at different stores) to find all the new figs (Vader, Mace, Qui-Gon, etc) except for Luke. I only want one, which is the one with the bloody version hand. Condition doesn't matter, as I open them usually anyway. I am planning on attending my first Sith Council meeting Mon. any help with this fig would be great. If anyone is looking for anything, let me know. I may be able to help. I saw a few Jango Final Battle and Mace's at Target yesterday. Help me Sith Council, you're my only hope.

One final question, anyone seen a 12" Ultimate Jango or a Senator Palpatine fig. Several websites report these are out.

 

12" Ultimate Jango is on the way to K-Marts. He was mentioned it he add for this week but didnot arrive to the stores. You can get a raincheck.

The Palpatine wave has not hit the USA yet. It is overseas. I say by the end of the month they will be hitting stores.
