Slug Bug (Punch Buggy)... What else?

So if you see a slug bug you get to punch someone. What else is there that you can do this with?

 

Stab them?

 

A friend of mine played this game with her kids but instead of slugging they just kept track of points.

 

Punch em twice when you see a VW Bus.

 

Damn, just seeing this made my arm hurt!!

I remember my kids playing this. lol

 

Are there any other things to find that you can use though?

Another example is a car without a headlight. We call those piddidles. And if you see one, say 'pididle' and hit the ceiling, the members of the opposite sex who are in the car with you have to remove an article of clothing. (Obviously don't play this one with your family).

Well, I hit for OFC's (old fashioned cars), those other volkswagon thingies the name of which escapes me at the moment, and beavers (cars with wooden siding).

 

I know people who play "yellow car" and they also do the beaver thing, although I've never heard them called that. And what else? Cadillacs, PT Cruisers, slug bugs... Actually, the wood siding is worth three, I think. So if you ever saw a yellow PT Cruiser with wood siding, that would be five!

 

When my brothers played hockey we used to travel around Wisconsin every weekend going to games in different cities. We had this point system worked out where you got points for people who waved to you, gave you a thumbs up, winked, if you could get all three it was worth a hundred thousand points.

Happened once when we were driving next to someone who used to ride with us so he knew the game and he did it.

Slug bug? Is that like saying pop instead of soda?

 

It the term we've always heard.

VW Beetles are Bugs, so Slug Bug.

Also PT Cruiser is a Cruiser Bruiser.

When riding in the car with my little brother, we made up one for anything we saw.
