Guy Ritchie directed this? Then it's probably the only film of his I know. Damn goo one too; it cracks me up everytime I see it. Other than his marrying Madonna, I dunno what else the guy has done.

Guy Ritchie marrying Madonna is pretty funny, though. Now she tries to talk with a slight British accent. The couple made a movie recently that they hyped, but tanked in theaters...not quite sure what it was called though.

 

Guy Ritchie also directed Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Which is very good also, but Snatch is better.

Brad Pitt is incredible in it.

 

Guy made a movie recently, starring Madonna, but it did really bad, I hear.

Boris the Blade is hilarious as a character in snatch (I don't know if I can shut up about him). Even when they are trying to kill him to make him shut up he's funny.

And then there's the dog...

 

Definitely one of my top 10 fav movies of all time! So many quotes I'd love to post, but all so inappropriate for the boards...

The movie with Madonna is "Swept Away" a remake of some french film. I think it won several Rasberry awards. And he directed that Madonna video that was "banned" or whatever.

Slightly off topic, but I was watching a movie review of some really dumb movie (by the Farrley brothers) and one of the guys is working a cross-word puzzle. He asks his brother "What is a four letter word for snatch". After thinking about it the brother says, "grab."

 

One of my favourite movies ever! I have it on DVD, so many amazing scenes it's too hard to name a favourite!

 

I like Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels better but this is still an awesome movie.

 

i saw that trailer too. that farrelly bros. movie is called "stuck on you", Grand_Duchess_Olga. my friend didn't get that joke since he didn't know the other meaning of snatch (let alone the four letter work for it).

anyway, both snatch and lock stock are great. hope he makes more movies about brits and leaves his wife alone to do her singing rather than making bad movies with her.

 

I still haven't seen Lock Stock. Is it another gangster movie? It sounds like a how-to movie by the NRA.

 

yes, it another gangster movie - very much along the same line as Snatch. Great plot, some excellent suspense and a generous helping of humour.

If you haven't seen it, then I really recommend it for a good weekend movie.

See it tomorrow !

 

I saw Lock, Stock... at Best Buy the other day. I had to pass it by because I didn't have enough cash.
