so I'm trying to figure out the lyrics to the Modern Family theme

The first line seems to be "hey hey" but then they lose me after that...

 

I've been trying to figure out the words to HIMYM.

But the sad fact is TV theme songs are terrible now. Any one of them fails miserably in comparison to something like the Family Matters theme.

I always half-heartedly sing along to the Community song, even though I don't know any of the words except "locked up, tied up, dead in a year".

 

I love me some theme songs.

Growing Pains, Out of this World, DuckTales, Gummi Bears, Chip n Dale's Rescue Rangers, X-Men, Perfect Strangers, The Greatest American Hero, The Muppet Babies, Step By Step....I could go on and on. A good theme song really sets the tone, and many of today's shows are just missing that. It's pretty unbelievable that the TCW cartoon doesn't really have a theme song.

Btw, does anyone know the song in the background of the Muppet Movie trailers? That's been on my mind and I just can't place it.

I think that those are the only words to the Community theme song that anyone knows.

 

What about "I can't find a reason I should stay"

 

Fine, those are the only two phrases that people know.
