So..what music-related talents do you have?

I can hum the Imperial March from beginning to end.

 

I can turn on a radio.

I can play the cello. I can also sing very badly and out of tune, but that hasn't put my music teacher off making me join the chamber choir.

 

I play the cello and bass guitar. I used to sing, but I've lost interest in it.

 

My brother can play the guitar very well, and he's related to me. Does that count?

 

I can play the violin and a little bit of piano.

Well, alright, I'm not that talented. But I can play guitar, piano, and am learning the tenor sax.

Since he isn't a finger tapper, he has to pick up and down while playing instead just a continuous down motion. So I practiced going up and down the fret board using an up and down motion on each string. I usually do that while playing Kashmir by Led Zeppelin and I'm developing the speed like Yngwie! But I'm not there yet All I could play from Yngwie is the acoustic guitar part from Icarus' Dream Suite and I could do a similar "Dodododododododo DOOT DEEE DOO DOO DOOO" thing from Far Beyond The Sun and some Asian/Indian-type thing I made up which is continuously going as fast as possible and switching from different strings.

And my biggest musical talent... Playing the guitar like a righty even though I'm a lefty! That's right, I'm a lefty but could only play like a righty.

 

I'm willing to listen to 80's music.

I also play the piano, both classical and jazz, and in the case of jazz, mostly by ear. Actually, I can play virtually any pop tune I'm familiar with by ear, with a little assistance from guitar chord notation.

I can also whistle, and to some extent sing. Haven't done a karaoke night in a long time though.

I've also done some of my own composing, with a fairly extensive theory background to back it up...

 

I've played the violin for 8 years now, and I'm fairly good at it.

I'm also probably going to pick up a Fender Stratocaster for my birthday in August to fiddle around with.

 

My music-related talent is the ability to rip my CDs and encode them into MP3s for easier listening

 

lets see, i've been studying music since the 4th grade... i'm not good at math though but i think thats a long time! i can play most of the woodwinds except the double reeds, those are evil! HISSSS!!! i can play the piano and am self-teching myself the guitar right now. i am also good at useing the program "cakewalk" writting my own midi music on that is really fun. i have made my own remix of duel of the fates from scratch. oh yeah and i can also belch every star wars related theme after drinking a root beer.

 

Upright bass. Yeah yeah, i wish i was there in Chalmun's place... But my bass is too big to fit in a standard spaceship....

 

I play the piano, the violin, and sing (but not very well) I also am excellent with the wistle suckers!

I'm writing the score for BYP's next film project "Doom Raiders"

 

I compose symphonies in my head. I also remix songs and such in my head as well (Last night I did a Scottish Highland version of "Yellow Submarine" without words of course)

 

Well, singing is my talent. Mostly classical and opera, but every other kind in the car!!!! I've been singing since I was eight, and it's definitely stuck with me! I'm taking piano lessons this summer, so I can play some. Oh, and I played the flute for a semester... but that didn't work out!

 

I'm a trumpet player. I'm also member of a choir(hey, not everybody can say that they sang at the "Place des Arts" of Montreal!!!).
