Lisa's Song by Allison Crowe gets to me every time. Her cover of Hallelujah is also my favorite version.
Thanks, @Jedi Bluth , you made me think of another one... Man, high school was rough... And then this last one is tearfully sweet, and then comes the last line...
School was rough period. Seether helped me through my older years... But it was this one that was the most relatable. Spoiler for language... Spoiler I loved hearing both the songs live. (But it was a different feel, then.)
Hell yeah she does. Fallen was a big part of my childhood growing up. EVERYONE had the Fallen album. (But Fallen doesn't make me cry, so off-topic. I just can talk about music all day long) Sting had some songs that hit home. A lot of his music talks about being lonely and I really relate to that.
It wasn't just the song, but I teared up both times I watched the ending of The Haunting of Bly Manor.
My high school cross country running team decided that was our theme song. Yeah, I was in high school when that was on the charts.
Heard this while at the store this morning. Have not heard this song in years! Immediately made me tear up a bit.
Tori Amos, "Putting the Damage On". Beautiful and haunting, I was listening to it the day my mother died. It was playing when the hospital called that she was in cardiac arrest and asked if I wanted to continue the code.
