I thought everyones favorite Pirate deserved his own fan club so here we are.

I also cant think of a name I will call everyone in the club so if you want to join I'll just add your name to the roster

I'm in! Hondo's brilliant. As for names, members can just be 'The Crew', and you 'Captain'.

 

MAUL: you will pay for your insolence!

HONDO: insolence!? We are pirates we don't even know what that means!

 

You know now that I think about it, pirates are supposed to be all about fast hit-and-run tactics. Why do they have tanks?

 

Tanks originally had a strong association with fast warfare - blitzkrieg as it was called.

 

Yeah, but Star Wars planets are like the equivalent of islands, where you can't really use blitzkrieg tac—okay whatever, back to Hondo.

 

I think they only had the tanks on florrum to protect their base.

I do remember that in Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, this was the best vehicle to use.

Hondo is one of my all time favorite characters in the Star Wars universe, and the most quotable, with lines like this.

Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 5: Brothers of the Broken Horn, when he was talking to Azmorigan.
"Come now, let's leave your wife out of this. There is no need for such impropriety among thieves."

Even though this isn't considered to be canon, I like how Hondo is used at Galaxy's Edge in Walt Disney World, and Disneyland, for the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction.
