*Spoilers: REBEL DREAM* when did Luke Skywalker first meet Face?

I have heard that in Rebel Dream it says that Face meet Luke Skywalker but when?
The UK still does not have REBEL DREAM can anyone help me I would be most greatful

 

I don't know. Face said he was disguised at the time, so Luke didn't know it was Face.

 

I think it was really meant to be a joke, just sort of a passing comment. We aren't meant to know when they first met, at least not yet anyway. Perhaps it will be revealed in Rebel Stand.

But it would be cool if they told us in Rebel Stand.

 

I could be that a minor character (such as a tech, pilot, etc) said that to Luke in one of the other books, and Allston wrote it so that "extra" became Face. Now starts the mission of hunting through all available EU material to see if we can match it up . . .

Cole Fardreamer was far to young to be face, as I recall.

 

True, he was too young for that. However, he was the makeup specialist for the Wraiths and had a lot of experience with that. It wouldn't have been too hard for him to do.

I offered my original suggestion as somewhat of a joke, Val, but if you look at it, it could have been him. But i don't really think it is.

Seriously...he could have been anyone. I thought myself that it was just a joke...like the Luke/Kell exchange where Luke says he knows Kell is a wraith and Kell says:
"You weren't supposed to know that. Now I have to kill you."

Maybe it was in the Black Fleet Crisis. That's what I thought of when I read it, but I can't remember anyone saying that.

I dunno. The line just put me in the mind of the Black Fleet Crisis, or maybe the Corellian Trilogy. But really, I have no idea. I might be mis-remembering a line that sounded vaguely similar from a completely different context.

I outlined a fanfic about Han getting captured/kidnapped and Face having to fill in for him for something or other a long time ago. Maybe I could flesh it out using this info when I have free time.

He could have met him during the Zahn trilogies you know. Course he could have met him anytime.

 

That's what so great about that line. It could have been anyone, anywhere, any time.

 

Would be nice to know when and were it was. But more than Likely Face was just toying with Luke. Luke may have seen one of Face's childhood holodramas and that caused him to think he recgonized Face. Face realizing that might have been the case decided to have a bit of fun with him.
