Well the wrapped thing has come out. Seems since I saw the Belle movie and listened to the music, it's been my number one thing lol. Listened to 14,934 minutes, mostly movie stuff. My top 5 songs belong to Belle. Then RWBY, phantom of the opera, and the music man. So.. Yeah. What's yours?
I don't do Spotify much any more (mostly because I refuse to pay for it so albums are on "shuffle" and that annoys me...lol) I listened to 109 songs (582 mins), with my top being listened to 3 times Top 5: Final Countdown-Europe; Don't Tell Me You Love Me-Night Ranger; Youth Gone Wild-Skid Row; Animal-Def Leppard, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; Hysteria-Def Leppard Top Artists: Dorothy, Steel Panther, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Night Ranger
Being on strike for a few weeks may have had an effect on my listening this year. Billy Bragg was my most listened to artist, weirdly peaking when I was picketing. But my top song was "Problem With It" by Plains.
https://open.spotify.com/wrapped/sh...3YjcxNDctMzQxNS00NmNjLTg0NTMtODdmZjExNzA2NjYz My number one song could be perceived as a shameful option for a 45 year old. I don't care though, it's aces.
Top band was Dropkick Murphys and top song was The Last One (live) 2. Turnpike Troubadours 3. Kris Kristofferson 4. The Highwaymen 5. Willie Nelson Somehow Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce snuck into my top 5 songs which honestly feels kind of embarrassing, but I’ll own it.
pretty much only used spotify this year to make my jcc playlist, but here you go anyway. Spoiler: large image
I used YouTube more. They have their own version of Spotify’s wrapped. Anyway my top genres were video game soundtracks (don’t know how YouTube categorized this as a genre) electronic dance Russian hip hop Ukrainian dance Russian indie lol it said my mood was sadness top track was Raphael’s final act listened to 103 times
I jumped ship on services so often this year that I apparently only used Spotify for three months, meaning the Prince is dead, long live the new King: (Prince is still my top artist on my most-used service this year of Amazon Music, don’t kid yourself).
Thanks to my seven year old my number one song was, "Fifty" by Numberblocks. Man, I really don't need to hear that song ever again. My top artists were: Numberblocks Split System Judas Priest Dazy The Whiffs Numberblocks aside I like all those other bands, (obviously) but with the exception of Split System I don't think of those other bands as some of my favorites. I was somewhat surprised to see them on my favorites list, especially Dazy. I like that band well enough but they're definitely not a favorite. Judas Priest, I obsessively listed to a bunch of their records for two weeks and then completely stopped listening to them for the rest of the year. I guess I listened to those Priest albums A LOT in those two weeks! My favorite album of the year just came out few days ago. Hyperculte!
Since I listen to albums all the way through, and apparently I've listened to Bach's unaccompanied cello suites (performed by Yo-Yo Ma) the most the first 5 tracks (i.e., the 4 movements of suite 1, and the first movement of suite 4) are the most played. I've also listened to the cello suites as recorded by other performers. "The Power and the Glory" is a terrific album. I bought the 5.1 mix not too long ago.
Spotiy claims I listened to 51 genre and 10,000 minutes of podcasts. My #1 song is 'Push' by Trevor Rabin. Top artists: 1. Two Door Cinema Club 2. Trevor Rabin 3. Grouplove 4. Yes 5. Utopia
I'm in the top 0.5% of BTS fans worldwide in terms of my listening. For a fourth year straight. I am so cool.
YouTube Premium is my most used, so… Not sure how Victory Lap made it on there… only listened to that once. Spotify: .
As a person who didn’t use Spotify all year, here is what you get. Spoiler Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
