197 for day one. But it was 197 words of pure excellence the trashiest of the trashy.

 

Hey, 197 words is still 197 words.

People MAY hate me, but I got a total of 1887 words down. I do NOT expect to be able to get out that many word in a day again, I had nothing else to do today. Plus the scenes I wrote had been in my head for awhile. I'm also having a blast just writing pure fluff and not challenging myself at all as a writer. I DO NOT CARE: IT'S FUN!

 

I don't hate you. With my blood pressure lower than the usual low, I slept from midnight to 2 PM, then barely managed to spend 12 hours awake...ironically, I need to write something pretty painful. I think I'm in the right mood for it, physically.

Also, as somebody who is probably unable to write that much fluff, I salute you!

I won't get any colours for beating your word count, I don't think.

Still, I believe you when you say the words were in your head waiting to come out. Bravo.

 

I hope you feel better Ewok Poet. I've had days like that.

And don't count yourself out of beating my wordcount (if I don't make it to 5000). I have until Tuesday to write, then, depending on when the final exam is for my class, maybe like 6 days at the end, and maybe whatever I can squeeze in between assignments (why do I do this to myself?).

I can't focus on anything specific at the moment, but yesterday in amongst other work, I managed to scribble out random bits and pieces that I'll have to sort through once things calm down.

471 words on my Raissa and Doran sequel This story has been lurking in my brain for over ten years. I'm still not sure it's as good as "Doran's Place," but at least I'm working on the darn thing!

I'm on 1247 ready-to-post words, plus a whole bunch of stuff that I still need to work on before I count.

(Oh, and EP, "trashiest of the trashy" doesn't begin to describe it!)

Meanwhile, I sit at zero. I spent all day yesterday at an amusement park, came home exhausted, crashed into bed relatively early, and then have been on the go most of the day today. And now I'm too tired to write. But I hope to get something going tomorrow.

 

They will be getting worse. I mean BETTER.

Participant list and numbers have been updated. I am super tired, so please make sure I didn't do some stupid typo.

I actually ended up having to go to my mother's this evening so I got a daily total of 377, bringing me up to 2164. I'm hoping to be a bit more productive tomorrow to get this chapter done before I start my class.

I missed day two. If I don't get anything done today, I won't know till Tuesday or Wednesday how productive I will be for most of the month.

 

My total so far is 1804. I really wanted to get the first draft of my longfic finished this weekend, but not quite there yet.

 

415 words on my AU, for a total of 887 words in three days.

 

602. Well, could be worse. But I'm still not finished with something that I want to finish...

 

2315 total...yesterday's migraine was not good for my writing.

 

Minor question: I'm assuming that the count we give is always our added-up total so far? Just checking.

 

That's what I have been doing all along.

 

I didn't write a single word today and I didn't even edit any of the logorrhoea I put to paper over the weekend, so nothing to report from my end. But tomorrow morning before I go to work I'll edit stuff ferociously.

EDIT: Actually I did write, but it wasn't stuff that counts -- i.e. reviews and replies, and now I'm going to go and read some more stuff and review it.

 

It takes a long time to review -- maybe we need a review word race one month too. Although that's kind of weird.
