But, yes they are, and I'm delighted.

 

I need to know who's writing this. The blurb is decidedly double-edged and no way to tell which way it'll go.

 

I'm guessing that the Moffs are planning to seize power themselves, I'm hoping for some game of thrones inspired polictics. With one powerbase trying to undermine the other (I would also like to see the star wars version of the red wedding ). I wonder if we will get any hints towards the main antagonists in TFA ? (I know, based on rumored spoilers who the villains are, but I won't spoil )

Very interested to read this one and see where the galaxy is right after ROTJ in this new canon. I'm hoping they have a really amazing author for this one.

 

Yeah, the Rebel Alliance engaging Imperials. My kinda book. I think that the NEU is off to a good start!

I sense a book that will have Ackbar, Wedge, and the Rebel Fleet..

Ars Dangor has a superweapon that can put a peculiar hat on every single person on a planet.

 

A deliberately vague description, but at least we know it's post-ROTJ! I wonder who this Rebel scout is.

 

I agree that the author's going to make a big difference. Several names could make me very happy, others (I don't think I need to say who by now) would have me burning Mickey Mouse in effigy.

 

So it sounds like there are warlords and a fragmented Empire... and the last sentence sounds like there might not be anymore once the novel is done. Very interesting.

 

It seems like we're going to get a glimpse of the dark lord of the ST in Aftermath

I love the blurb. I'm glad it confirms that the Empire is still around. That was my biggest concern after the reboot. And the possibility of them going fragmented to reunified is cool. I can't see how the continue the story in this book and later ones. I'm also looking forward to seeing the Rebels fight the Empire. It means that the Separatist movement may finally be avenged. #JediForTheSeparatistMovement.

 

This will be interesting.

I don't think so. It's probably just taking some time to confirm that piece of news and spread it everywhere across Imperial space. Which is why he's only "rumored" to be dead at that point.

Well unfortunately the rest of the galaxy didn't get the opportunity to watch ROTJ in the direct aftermath.
