It was all downloaded in the Feb patch, just unlocked in March so no download required!

I've only gotten the hero vehicle token once.

Same here. The only time I ever even bother going after the opposing hero vehicle is if they fired on and killed me. Otherwise I just try to stay away from them. Let them try killing each other and the rest of my teammates.

I must confess I really enjoy the new Endor map. It has such wonderful colors and an overall great layout.
My only concern is the placement of the last two uplink stations on Walker Assault, but thats hardly anything new in that mode.

One of the things that keeps me entertained by the game is the diversity in matches. Some games are really frustrating because you are either outnumbered our outsmarted by the opposite team. Other matches are pure moments of brilliance, because your team of complete strangers actually manages to work together and secure victory. I can see why this "random factor" will surely put people off from playing the game, but it has the opposite effect on my. And just to stick with the "Survivors of Endor" map and Walker Assault mode; the last match I played this morning proved how a good team can go against the otherwise odd balacing of the maps. The issue I mentioned before (the placement of the last two uplinks) were brought to shame in that match, because we pushed the Rebels back and kept the uplink stations down. It was very entertaining.

However, I did run into a bit of a wicket problem in the first moments of the match - I got caught by a tree:
[IMG]"This is a shortcut... I think?! I'm stuck! Help! Heeeeeeeelp!"

Oh, and I just have to share this video, which shows the "melee waltz" I talked about earlier in the thread. It was so silly.

I played the new Endor Map other day and well didn't do very well.

It looks great though, just need to familiarize myself with it.

Yup, that's what happens to me more often than not. I wish the melee attack was easier, like in GTA (the R2 button). It would actually make sense if you had a weapon wheel, also similar to GTA. That way, you could just switch off the blaster completely, and use the trigger button as melee. I hate the R3/L3 button being used on the Playstation console.

Everyone who buys the dlc gets it, those who bought season pass gets it 2 weeks earlier hence the March/April split. I could be wrong, I'd be doubtful that everyone gets the dlc otherwise the only benefit of the season pass would be 2 weeks early. But if they don't want to split player base they could do that. I just don't see it happening.

Splitting the player base is literally the biggest problem that plagues DLC map packs, and the only way to solve it is to eventually give everyone the maps, but publishers just don't want to do that.

Agreed, although there was the exception of Titanfall which had paid dlc which eventually went free for various reasons.

Wow, Thank you for bringing this up. 2 weeks is plenty of time for me to decide whether or not it is worth it. I'm sure it will be mainly for the new maps, heroes, and weapons. Also, any word on how much the individual packs will cost?

I got the Deluxe version of the game because I wanted 2 weeks early access to the DLC. Now they're only giving that to the Season Pass holders? Am I correct on that?

Well no, it was always going to be 2 weeks early access for season pass holders. So unless the SP was included in that deluxe package the you'll have to wait. But the early access was always only for those who bought the SP.

Strange. For BF4 when I got the Deluxe, I always got to to play the DLC 2 weeks before everyone else

Yeah, what I meant to say was I don't know what was included in the deluxe package. If the season pass was included then yeah you'll get early access otherwise you will have to wait 2 weeks.

The Deluxe package got you the DL44, Ion Torpedo, and Ion Grenade already unlocked and then two exclusive emotes.

I'm sorry, but I think that's just a waste of money; and I know Battlefront isn't the first game that has unlocks available for purchase as DLC, and it won't be the last. I know the new Street Fighter game will have something similar. I'd never waste my money on that. That's if you have no patience to play the game outright to earn the weapons and other items as you level up.

The deluxe version has the season pass included. Therefore you will have access to the Outer Rim DLC 2 weeks early.

The Ultimate Edition is the one with the Season Pass, not the Deluxe. The Ultimate is almost double the price of the regular version, includes everything that Deluxe does, and has the Season Pass on top. No idea why that couldn't have been done different, but what can you do?

What are people's thoughts on the price? Is $15 good for 2 large, 2 small, few new guns and star cards, new (unnecessary) game mode and new (terrible but fitting) hero and villain?
