I ran through the entire game a second time around a few days, did great until I hit the Tusken Canyon, darnit but that level is the hardest in the game. It's not the flying and hopping from pillar to pillar, it's fact that the Tusken Raiders seem to not only be able to see through solid rock, but shoot through it as well. Maybe it's me and my perception of things, but if I'm hiding behind a wall or a boulder and the Raider is below me, the shot should not kill me. (I usually buy it after the 3rd check point, after the sail barge). I know they're sniping, but could someone tell me why their guns do more damage than one of the skiff-mounted cannons? The other 17 levels are a breeze compared to this one, for me at any rate.

I have the game saved in another slot so I can play any level I want to pick up more bounties, and I can do the first six without dying, the next 3 on 2 or 3 continues, and I have only completed Tusken Canyon once. Heck, I can do Moon of the Dead in 2 lives, Vosa's Lair is a one lifer, and even beating Vosa I can usually do in 1 or 2 lives now that I know how she works.

My only wish was that there be more places to explore and better secrets than the feather tokens. I liked the secrets in the Jedi Knight games- actual useful stuff. Gaining access to concept art and outtakes is great, but it doesn't help you when you're down to almost no health.

Favorite Levels: Entertainment District, The Escape (Chap 3, Oovo IV), and Moon of the Dead.

Least Favorite Level: Beast Arena, (too short).

    Favorite Weapon: Medium repeating blaster

Least Favorite Weapon: Grenades (almost useless, except in a few situations)

Frustration Reliever: Going nuts in the Entertainment District and KILLING EVERYTHING that moves.

Best Boss: The spidery thingy guarding the Firesprays.

Worst Boss: Komari Vosa- Not that hard, and worse, her attacks look dumb considering what they do.

Worst Moment: Dying 5 times in the exact same level, (Death Stick Factory).

    Waaaahhh! Spalt!
    Waaaahhh! Spalt!
    Waaaahhh! Spalt!
    Waaaahhh! Spalt!
    Waaaahhh! Spalt!

    Restart level?

    Grrrrr!

Best Moment: Gaining full bounties on guys I have accidentally set on fire before claiming them and falling the entire distance in the Nerf Chasm and surviving by careful modulation of thrust from the jetpack.

Funniest Moment: Sorry, I find watching people run around waving their arms in the air while on fire hilarious.

    "Aaaagghh! I'm burning! I'm burning!"

Kier: LOL! People on fire amuses me too.

I also agree on the Tusken Canyon level. It's insane! I can beat it with losing 3 lives, but geez it's annoying. And, it's not you, on 3 seperate occaisions, the Tuskens can shoot through walls. It's quite interesting/annoying.

Vosa was super-easy once I realized you could tie her up!

I know this is kind'a OT but why does Jando have silver armor? The mandaloreans have mostly green armor exept for Montross and a few others, and as a bounty hunter bright reflectent silver isn't the best color to where if your trying to be sneaking arond. Best to have a more nutral color that wold help you blend in to the backgrond like dark green! In most of the levels in the game Dark green wold be an advantige:
    Molistare
    The moon of the Dead
    Parts of Oovo IV
    Most of Corasont
    even on Tatooine!!!

My complant is that lucasarts made the game about Jango and not Boba! Boba Fett's, like, a million times coller then Jango in my vew!

When (or if) they make a sequil it outa be about Boba then they outa make one about the Mandaloreans and then maby a last one about Montross!!

    ?Bye!

Jango is the best! If you go in blasting and take down a deadly cult, a major criminal organisation, face down the Republic Security Force and the tightest Maximum Security prison wearing reflective silver AND live to bring down a dark jedi...well he's got to be doing something right.

Though Boba came first in theaters, Jango is more of a badass! Plus he looks cooler! I'd take silver armor or green armor, anyday! He also put up more of a fight against the jedi, IMO.

I'm sure Bounty Hunter 2 will focus on Boba sometime down the road.

I'm still betting there is a code in their somewhere that alows you to play with Boba's Armor. Surely it's just a paint job... but it'd be cool if they gave him his gun as well...

BH is the best SW game in I've played. Almost beat it.

Here's a quirk though. In the level (can't remember which one) where you have to go from one bldg to the other w/ the hovering sleds to the 3 holes at the very bottom. One time I fell and just periodically used the jet pack til I stopped falling. At the very bottom you can run around in a circle looking up and the buildings. It was the coolest thing I had ever seen in a game.

I beat Bounty Hunter today. I really expected komari Vosa to be a lot more difficult. She was actually kind of easy though she did take me down to my last life. It seemed to me that the levels on the moon of Bogdon were all pretty easy, though the first one was probably harder than the other two. The levels I seemed to have the most trouble with were The Break Out, The Escape, and the three Malastre levels. I also thought that Tusken Canyon level was pretty hard, come to think of it.

I used the whipcord and then switched to that heavy blaster cannon you get earlier in the level, and unloaded 20 rounds into her before she broke free, then lathered, rinsed, and repeated. Once I was out of ammo, it was just alot of dodging and twin blaster firing at long range- took awhile, but I got her eventually.

Bladecarver - that was the nerf factory level. I managed to get all the way down as well but died when I hit the bottom. Was wondering what would have happen had I lived..sounds pretty neat.

    Does anyone have any Komari Vosa images besides the ones in the official game site? I'm looking for them to make more icons of her. I only have 3 so far *points @ icon link in her sig* ^^;

If you have any other pics of her, please contact me through here or through PM, please. :)

    Thanks. :)

Oh... btw, does anyone know when the game comes out for PC? ?[face_plain] I'd like to play it... :p

    FYI- Bounty Hunters

In case you were wondering why your Notoriety Ranking changes so much in the game, here's how the Notoriety ranking REALLY works:

#1 being the most proficient (least innocents killed, most live bounties captured)

    1. Ultimate Bounty Hunter--99% of the 125 bounties who are wanted either Alive only or are wanted Dead or Alive you captured alive AND You killed 24.99% or less non-enemies

    2. Mandalore Warrior--99% of the 125 "live" bounties captured alive/ You killed 25% to 74.99% non-enemies

    3. Cold Professional--99% of the 125 "live" bounties captured alive/ You killed 75% or more non-enemies

    3. Bounty Hunter's Guild Member----50% to 98.9% of the 125 "live" bounties captured alive/ You killed 24.99% or less non-enemies

    4. Specialist--50% to 98.9% "live" bounties captured alive/ You killed 25% to 74.99% non-enemies--

    5. Registered Galactic Menace--50% to 98.9% "live" bounties captured alive/ You killed 75% or more non-enemies

    6. Bold Assassin----0% to 49.9% of the 125 "live" bounties captured alive/ You killed 75% or more non-enemies

    7. Ruthless Killer--0% to 49.9% "live" bounties captured alive/ You killed 25% to 74.99% non-enemies

    8. Thug--0% to 49.9 "live" bounties captured alive/ ---You killed 24.99% or less non-enemies

In short, bring in as many bounties Alive as possible (that is, only if they ARE wanted alive). If a bounty has the same price dead or alive, then try to claim him alive. If he's wanted DEAD only, then just kill 'im.

Try to avoid blasting innocents (even though games like Vice City have trained you to do otherwise--the flamethrower is tempting, I know :) You will not auto-aim civvies, but they can get in the way if you're not careful. In heavily populated areas like Coruscant, try to get enemies to come after you and away from crowds.

I don't think Bounty Hunter is coming to PC. I think it was PS2 and GameCube only. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I finished the game as a "Bold Assassin"... I didn't really try for the secondary bounties, since in some levels I was just worried about finishing the level. So, I probably only grabbed 8 bounties [face_batting]

I'll be going back for the others now [face_batting]

I wonder- does Vosa count as the 125th?

According to the Strategy Guide, she is a primary bounty. There are 150 secondary bounties. There are no secondary bounties on the last 3 levels.

Yeah, people generall don't have bounties on zombie monkeys. It would be too scary to catch them.

Man, that would be hilarious if you could grapple Vosa and collect her instead of fighting. :D
