you eventually end up going towards the beginning of the level. Towards the end of the level you end up a river of waste.

When you get the jetpack look up and around for the ship that Meeko has stolen. It hovers at certain points to allow you to follow. You can try shooting at it but you won't bring it down.

was anyone else seriously annoyed by the nexu?

it took me awhile to find out that they could be taken down w/ the dart in one hit, but man are they annoying!!!

also, does anyone else thinks the outtakes could be better? i just beat chapter 3 (got the game a week ago) and thought they could've had fun w/ the outtakes!

I hear ya on both counts Corellian. Seemed like everytime I got in a position where I could just take out one of those damn kitties with a dart, it jumped me.

And yeah, the outtakes are a bit lame. When I saw the outtakes option, I thought "Like the DVDs?" :D "Like Toy Story?" :D But sadly not. :(

I've done it thanks to your advice guys, now I've moved on to chapter 2 and you know on Upper city were you locate senator Trell's apatment you know that gunship I've shot all it's guns, and then when it's unarmed it just rotates round the building and if you shoot at it nothing happens, how do you defeat it if you can't shoot it down once it's unarmed?

JONJEDI - I got stuck on that gunship for a long time. You have to take out the turrets near the bow of the ship and then blast the missile bay when it is open. You have to manually aim as the grenades from your grenade launcher will miss and go under the ship if you auto-aim.
If you are this far you will hit the prison chapter soon. There are plenty of hints in this thread about handling the breakout. I think most of us who have beaten it agree it was one of the worst - and longest - levels.

JONJEDI - For the police gunship, you need to use the grenade launcher. Go upstairs, shoot out the windows with your pistols. Peek out the windows and when the gunship is hovering closely to that particular window, launch a couple rounds. Eventually it should go down. I think grenade rounds keep regenerating in the apartment too, so dont worry about running out. It took me a while cause I kept missing.

And by the way, does anyone else think the Death Stick Factory (Malastare Level 3) is undeniably retarded? I died so many times trying to navagate that friggin level, and I still havent beaten it yet. That level would be a challenge WITHOUT enemies. There's so many pipes, slides, conveyor belts, jumps - it reminds me more like a amusement park than a drug factory...If Lucasarts makes a BH2, they need to either cut down on the length of levels, or allow you to save anywhere in a level. I DREAD having to restart this level again...

JacenFett - I felt that way about the prison breakout. I was at the point where I would scream if I had to clear those cell rooms of guards again. That really should have been two levels - or had a save point in the middle.

The Best Out Take is the One done by ILM... It shows Jango on a green-screen set asking about his motivation. A Kermit-sounding George Lucas tells im he doesn't need motivation, he's a bounty hunter...

    Faster! More Intense!!

I like the idea of the Outtakes - they have some good potential, but didn't come out so well. Too short in length and don't really give you enough time to appreciate what you just saw. Fir example, the third set is a string of Jango outtakes where he keeps complaining about his equipment not working. I think the first scene is him complaining "How am I expected to see outta this thing?" in reference to his helmet, but he's just standing there next to some guy and the scene lasts like 3 seconds. Could have been better if he was going through a scene, reciting his lines, and bumps into a wall or trips over something. He could yell "Cut!" and then go on his rant. I unlocked the first 3 sets, so hopefully the next sets will be better.

Has anyone faced and/or beaten Montross on Malastare yet? I haven't, but I'm hoping to get thru the Death Stick Factory (currently on this level now) far enough to face him, and would like to get some pointers on how to beat him??

JacenFett:I beat Montross in one try everytime cept chapter 6, that took 2 tries. There's not much to it except constantly fire your blasters at him before he reaches to the other side of the ship. Sometimes Bando Gora will appear, excuse me, zombie monkeys will jump out of the ship and attack you while your battling Montross.

I'm not sure how many Outtake sets there are. Six sets I guess since I'm assuming you unlock one for each Chapter passed. And is anyone else annoyed that you can barely even read most of the comic book pages?

Thanks for the advice SithShadow. I guess just onload on him with blasters and rockets while flamethrowing the Bando Gora? Does he become tougher if he reaches the other side of his ship, or is it just a matter of having a clear shot of him?

I didn't encounter any Bando Gora while fighting Montross. I blew them all away using remote controlled rockets (3 or 4). Then there are some regenerating rocket pickups inside a docked ship. I used these to shoot Montross down as blasters would have taken ages.

EDIT: and it is just having a clear shot.

JacenFett - I hear you man. The Death Stick Factory is annoying the heck outta me. I've gotten fairly good at sliding the tubes, but now I keep falling into the green muck and dying. Anybody have tips on navigating that maze of pipes? Do you have to jump from pipe to pipe, or is there another way across the green stuff?

Elusive - Strategy Guide says you can boost over the pipes, landing a couple of times, until you reach a circular ledge. From there you go onto a conveyor belt. If you do this
you lessen the battle damage and save your sniper rifle ammo.

I found the perfect route across the pipes so no problems with that area anymore.
However now I've got a new impassable area. :( The conveyor area just beyond is giving me a lot of trouble. I don't remember if it's the jump from the second to third conveyor, or the third to the forth, but it's one of those gaps that's ridiculously wide. Now maybe I still haven't gotten the hang of my jetpack, [face_blush]but I've tried everything to make that jump. Any recommendations?

OK - this is from the Strategy Guide.I am still trying to escape from the asteroid prison so I haven't played this part yet.
On conveyor belt 1 head thru the rock archway and turn left. When you enter the chamber boost and drop onto the belt below. Avoid the blue steam! From there boost across and land on the distant lower belt. Try to land as far to the left as possible.
Run against the movement of the belt until the jetpack replenishes. Run into and over the piles of sticks on the belts, then boost up to the next belt. Wait for the jet pack, and boost across to another belt. Wait again, and boost across to one more belt.
The rest of the belts are linked together, so the boosts aren't so bad. Boost and drop down onto the beginning of the path. From there turn right and boost across to the parallel belt. Turn right, boost onto the joined belt, and then boost up to a circular ledge. That gets you off the belts!
Since flying is not my specialty, I assume I will do the death plunge a few times when I get here...

Well I finally beat Prison Escape and now I'm on Malastare. The first time a Nexu jumped at me, I nearly had a heart attack. I was targeting it from like 50 feet away and all of the sudden it's mauling me!

Foxbat - how did you kill the landing dock droid at the end of The Escape? I managed to disable the blasters on the top of the thing with my heavy blaster. Strategy Guide then said to use missiles on the missile launcher parts at the bottom. Thing killed me four times while I was trying to aim one missile! And I thought I had killed off all the guards before starting on the droid but they kept regenerating.
This one is just as bad as the cop gunship on Coruscant..
