Star Wars Bowling Ball

I get a call yesterday from a friend of mine who wants me to join a bowling league with him. I tell him that I havn't bowled in about 3 years and that he'd be better grabbing somebody else to play with. He assures me that it's ok for me to play, and that he will pay for my entry fee. I think about it, and when he tells me that I will get a free bowling ball at the end of the season, I acquiesce and join his league. I show up last night at 9:30 to start to bowl. We sign in, get our shoes (which never fit), and start practicing. We lost the first game pretty badly, even though I bowled pretty good for not bowling for so long. I shot a 128 and was pretty excited. The next game starts and I suck it up pretty badly. I keep leaving open frame after frame and can't seem to build a score. The other team is struggling, and we are maintaining a 10 pin lead most of the night. It comes down to the 10th and final frame of the night, and I need at least a spare to give us a chance to put it away for good. I go up and knock down only 5 balls! I get ticked off and grab my ball. I calmly pick up the spare, and follow it up with a strike with my extra roll. The two guys following me both gets spares, and we win by around 25 I think.

Point being, I delivered in the clutch in a game in which I scored a measly, and embarrassing, 107.

By the way, I beat my friend that asked me to play by one pin on the night. Updates every Tuesday until the end of the league 3 weeks from now...and I know you care!

Also, I have this weird desire to watch "Kingpin" right now.

Oh, and if anybody's interested, the ball that I chose is right here. It's the blue and silver one. Tell me what you think.

Oh yeah, I'm looking for a cool Star Wars related name to name my new ball. Any suggestions?

I kind of like Sith Hunter...or Force Choke.

I also like the non star wars related name of Pin Bender.

Whatever you do, don't use the name of the Sith Strykers. That's my team's name. All of our bowling balls are inscribed with our name followed by our Sith name. For example, my ball reads: DAN - VADER.
