What wasn't to like? Loved it, especially the almost death of a jedi by my favorite villan.

Yet another great installment in your saga Stardog. I liked how you had Anakin use the force to send his light saber flying to clear a path in the mines, just like Vader in Return of the Jedi when he battled Luke. The fight scenes are definitely intense, I liked it when the sith used her light saber to cut into Obi-Wan's ship. I'll be waiting for the next installment.

 

Hmmm... Asajj is definitely playing the part of the Sith Witch here, but I still have to wonder what would happen if she and Maul were to really get a feel for the other... I mean, Dooku did prove that Ventress was not entirely Sith. What would an impulsive demon like Maul do to her?

Still reading. You are doing an excellent job still with the characterzations and the plot.

 

Stardog, how do you do it? This story is just freakin' awesome! I don't know how you are able to keep up the intensity of this story without exhausting yourself. Obi-Wan must be getting very tired by this point. I LOVE IT! There is so much going on, just like at the climax of EP1, 4, and 6.

I applaud you on your efforts. <loud clapping coming from the light side of the Force>

THE SAGA CONTINUES-

SECTOR-16-

?Now where were we?? The sith whispers, standing over Luminara as she hears the CRACK HISS!!! of a light saber igniting behind her.

Ventress turns to the smoking wreck of the Jedi fighter to see a blue glowing blade and the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi emerging from the smoke.

?We were just beginning.? The Jedi Master says strongly despite his rugged and torn appearance.

?You should have helped the boy when you had the chance.? Asajj hisses. ?Search your feelings Jedi? for your apprentice is running out of time.

?Well then, I suppose I shall make this quick.? Obi-Wan says assuming a defensive position. ?And through my feelings, the only thing I sense is your fear?Witch!?

Asajj squints her eyes, her breath rising, as her black heart beats faster.

?I fear no one!!!? she yells leaping toward the Jedi.

Kenobi stands patiently waiting, both his hands gripping his saber. He counters the siths attacks, parrying the left saber of Asajj and quickly makes a turn slicing through the hilt of her right. The sith looks to her saber the insides of the hilt crackling and sparking.

?I believe you?re going to have to do better than that.? The Jedi taunts as Asajj throws the broken saber to the ground.

She grips both her hands around her remaining saber, starring at the Jedi.

?Perhaps I was too quick to assume you were a sith?? Kenobi says.

?AGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!? Ventress screams and lunges forward to the Jedi master.

Obi-Wan blocks the attack and twirls his blade around the hilt of her saber slicing it in two as well. Asajj leaps over the Jedi Master and lands several yards from him. She reaches out through the force and yanks the light saber from the weakened grip of Unduli, it lands smoothly into her right hand. Ventress extends her reach to Aayla as the Jedi?s saber flies through the air smacking her left hand, hard. She ignites both saber together CRACK HISS!!!, the hilts of the sabers resting upside down in her grip with the blue and green blades pointing upward.

?Impressive?? Kenobi says slowly walking toward Asajj. ?But you?ll soon run out of tricks.?

Blinded from the rage of her wild emotions. Ventress begins to breath hard as she calms herself releasing the pure anger of the dark side throughout her body.

?Jedi fool? I shall enjoy your demise.? She hisses and dashes toward Kenobi.

Obi-Wan finds himself on the defense as Asajj reign?s down attack after attack her sabers appearing only as a blur of light. The anger of the sith consumes her very essence as she pushes the strong stance of the Jedi Master back.

SPACE ABOVE KESSEL-

The republic shuttle Souidis emerges from the folds of hyperspace, heading away from the battle toward Organa?s flagship. Mace Windu gazes out into space to the battle above the planet, and the fighters of the federation and Republic forces engaging one another through the stars of Kessel.

?Pilot. Request permission to land.? Mace orders.

The pilot hails the flagship. ?This is Shuttle Souidis requesting landing permission.?

?Your cleared to land in hanger bay?? What was that number?? Cain says scratching his head as he scans the control panel before him. ?Here we go!! 1?1?6?27. Yeah!! 11627!?

The pilot turns to Mace with a funny expression as Mace nods and motions for the pilot to land.

THE SPACE BATTLE OVER KESSEL-

Ki-Adi Mundi?s Jedi fighter soars through a cluster of federation droid fighters, heading straight for the last forward shield generator.

?Rogue 10, Rogue 7 form up. Set your targets on the forward control satellites. This going to be close.? Mundi orders as he fires a torpedo into the shield generator. KA-BOOOM!!!!

On the bridge of the main federation ship a Nemodian watches his control display as the shield read out reaches 0 percent.

?Commander. We?ve lost our forward shields.? The Nemodian reports.

Lott Dodd stops his pacing and looks toward the main viewing screen in horror at two X-wing fighters approaching. Both fighters fire their proton torpedo?s and peel off their attac

 

Obi-wan just can't get a moment off, can he? Now both Master and Padawan are fighting Sith (or wannabe Sith, as the case may be). It must be fun to compare notes at the end of the day, eh?

I really like 3PO uttering that the Gungan would be the death of him. It's quite Threepio-ish, and a natural reaction to Jar Jar.

 

That was another excellent installment, Stardog

It was so action packed and I think you managed to juggle all of the different plot threads very effectively. It played out just like the finale of TPM or ROTJ, cutting back and forth between several epic action sequences.

This chapter had a really nice cliff hanger ending too I almost expected a voice over to cut in, saying something like "What will happen to Anakin ?! Can he survive being buried alive ?! Tune in to next week's exciting episode to find out !" It definitely had that classic matinee serial feel to it.

I can't wait to find out what happens next !

Great work Stardog. I enjoy reading the well described action.

 

Great work Stardog, I like how Obi-Wan taunts Ventress and it causes her to be careless and then the anger and hatred in her builds up making her stronger. And the same with Maul and Anakin as Maul tells him that he senses the dark side him, that's so cool, like a great revelation. This story just keeps getting better and better and growing in intensity. Once again I find myself anxiously awaiting the next installment.

 

I second what Darth-Walken wrote. You do a great job at moving between "scenes." It really keeps the pace moving and ups the suspense.

I could literally feel the tension and evil as I read the scene between Anakin and Maul.

The Jar Jar incident was the perfect comic relief.

2 of my favorite parts or lines....

1st
The two Jedi and the clones of red squadron are thrown to the ground from the impact of the loading ships. Huge clouds of earth roll out from beneath the crashed ships engulfing the entire loading field.

ARC 894 walks through the cloud of dust to the fallen Jedi as master Tinn and Barriss slowly look up. ?Loading field is secure sir.? The clone reports....loved this part of the ARCs response.

The two Jedi look to each other smiling as the ARC commander turns away and heads back to his squadron.

2nd
Asajj squints her eyes, her breath rising, as her black heart beats faster.

?I fear no one!!!? she yells leaping toward the Jedi.
..... loved these 2 lines.

Holy Cow, Batman!!

This is intense!!

I love the scenes of Maul and Anakin fighting. What a great story.

But I have just one thing to say, Stardog...

Did you have to have THAT much sand? I've got it all down my robes. I'll never get it all out....
