Comics Star Wars: Darth Vader – Black, White & Red

I had to resurrect this thread to talk about the art in this series. I didn’t care much for the writing here. Mini stories like these barely do anything. But man the art in this was well I loved it.

 

Quick question for anyone more familiar with Marvel's "Black White & Red" format than I am - do they ever eventually come out as a regular TPB? I know the Vader series has been collected, but it's as a fragile, super-oversized hardcover which I guess is the norm for "BW&R" releases but not what really what I'd like for my own collection. I'll pick up the super-oversized hardcover if I have to but if I know this is going to drop as a TPB in X amount of time, I'm willing to wait.

 

They did Vader as Absolute-size paperback which I doubt would work that well.

It doesn't look like there's much consistency here, but Marvel have issued earlier BRW series as usual trades, as have Panini.

 

To answer my own question, the Star Wars Upcoming Books & Comics Facebook page reports that a "normal" TPB will be releasing on December 3. Figures, I couldn't wait and already picked up the oversized hardcover That's what I get for being impatient!
