ST Star Wars Episode 8 and Beyond Fan Art

I'm confused. Most of this is Episode 7 fan art...

 

I'm alive and back from the world of banning!
Since we won't have much to base episode 8 fan art off of, most of the fan art has been episode 7 related. Since I've been gone for a LONG time, I'll just limit my fan art posting to maybe once or twice a week and don't worry....I'll leave out the ship art (since they are getting pretty graphic now a days. Thanks fangirls). Anywho...here we go

I'm tempted to include some Jedistormpilot, Stormpilot, Reylo and Kylux fan art here but I don't know how people would handle them (I mean is LGBT fan art allowed here or should I just keep it non-ship based here?) I can include them in "spoilers" just to be safe cause there is some real good ship art out there (of coarse I won't include the NSFW stuff and I'm still iffy on including fan art with kissing)

 

Pretty sure LGBT fan art is allowed. Or is it fanfic that is allowed?
I say go for it.
Don't support Reylo and undecided about Kylux but go for it.

I don't know. I'm super paranoid about some jerk-face reporting me cause "This user posted a picture of two male characters kissing and I find that offensive! Ban her!". Due that my crazy paranoia, I'm just gunna include the "ship pics" in spoilers. so if homosexuality grosses you out then don't click it. Ok lets go in order of the top 4 TFA ships according to AO3. Don't worry it'll all be Pg. Just some kissing and everything is above the belt. Starting with....Stormpilot

Stormpilot is currently the #1 TFA ship on AO3 and is close to becoming the #1 Star wars ship in general. The fan fic count is currently at 1,220.
The second most popular, and the most controversial is Reylo (Kylo and Rey)

The Reylo ship is one that you either love or hate. There is no middle ground, sadly. Now the third most popular ship is also its darkest and that is Kylux (Kylo and Hux). Due to the pornographic nature of this ship, I'll be limiting the amount of art here since this is not a Pg ship.

And that's pretty much it for the NON-BDSM related fan art. Yeah...this ship is kinky. Now for our final ship, it's everyone's favorite Jedistormpilot (Rey x Finn x Poe)

Jedistormpilot is the "safest" ship to be apart of and is currently the least controversial.

 

Understood. Though knowing the mods here, I don't believe any of them would respond well to reports from bigots. I mean, if you don't need to ask if interracial fan art is OK, the same goes for LGBT stuff.

I thought I was just going to do the Fan art posting 1-2 times a week...but I'm weak so instead I'm thinking of doing "Themed days" in order to make it easier to find art. Today and next week will be a week dedicated to "First Order Trio" (Kylo, Phasma, Hux), and the week after will be "Resistance Trio" (Rey, Finn, Poe). I will definitely include more "ship art" but it'll stay in spoiler tags to avoid controversy. Let's begin.

Does the Kylo Ren cat count as fan art?

 

Today's theme is tumblr's new favorite ginger nazi, General Hux. Now the thing with his fan art is that generally (hehe) they tend to focus on his kinky relationship wtih Kylo, so it's relatively difficult to find solo fan art. Thankfully I am the queen of Star wars fan art so I managed to find some.








Now unlike the Phasma one, who is relatively uninvolved in the world of shipping minus a minor ship with Rey, Hux's is seemingly only shipped with Kylo. So onward to the ship art and do you guys have any freaking idea how hard it is to find PG Kylux art?

Not sure if this constitutes as VIII fanart, but it's gorgeous nonetheless. [x]

 

This belongs to Rogue One, but there was no thread for it in the Anthology forums. So anyway, this is my idea for how the Imperial Senate might look like in Rogue One.

- Red Imperial banners all over the place
- Shield-field around the Emperor in the middle, to protect against assassinations.
- Many seats are no longer used and therefore the Senate looks more sparsely

 

Jonipoon , your vision of the new Senate is completely perfect. Earlier on before any the plot details of episode 7 were leaked I was hoping we'd get Senate scenes and unfortunately I was let down your version of the new Senate in the new trilogy is definitely what I would expect to see if it were included in episodes 8 and or 9. First-order dominated the Senate check looks great keep on providing us with great art!!!

 

Due to the fact that I am too lazy to scroll up, today's special theme will be "Alternate Universe". Tuesday and Wednesdays will be BB-8 and Stormtrooper. Let's begin

For those who have posted their own work (all of you? some? haven't paid that close attention): You guys are very talented.

 

Wow just wow I thought the pictures I commented on it before were amazing! The dark side version of Rey has got to be my favorite, it even has an evil version of BB-8 although I kind of think the double crossed blade saber with one side being a cross guard lightsaber one side being a regular red lightsaber to be a bit much even for me it doesn't take away from how well designed that piece of art is

 

Time for our BB-8 day (obviously with inclusion from the normal fics and some ship art)
