unlimitedpower Thank you for the correction! The art was in the bunch with the 2 art pieces bellow that I got when searching for TLJ art. So I wrongly assumed they all depicted Rey and Luke. CrazyOldJedi Agreed. Dubrovnik is a big mystery in its own right.
Okay, I am bias toward Legacy NJO (Tahiri rules!) so ... I keep looking at Snoke and all I see is a Yuuzhan Vong
Man. That last one shows that Snoke's design would have been much better with a sort of crazy triangular headress. I know that's not what the art is showing, but some sort of scarily modern geometric costume would have upped the design game with that guy.
by Matt Busch. http://www.mattbusch.com/portfolio/ Too good not to add. Possibly my favorite TFA art. It captures the moment so well. I'd love to see this scene from Luke's perspective in TLJ. by Mark Englert. Check him out; his work is stunning. http://www.tacobelvedere.com/ Just found another. by Josh Burns https://www.artstation.com/artist/realjburns
Huh, it turns out Josh Burns is an artist for MakingStarWars. His Artstation page has a bunch more designs. Might as well add a few more while I'm at it. Some of them could be a bit spoilery so here: Spoiler: Possible concept designs, Custom Open
Since news/spoilers are slow and we still have almost a month until the teaser/trailer and all that celebration jazz, more art emerging: Spoiler Love for Rey with a doubleblade will never die I guess
nightangel When I saw that art, which I really like because I like Anime style and the symbolism of the corruptive pomegranate vs pure and strong wild rose, I instantly thought of you and that you would hate it. So, I just had to post it. I was, like, Nightagel is totally going to single it out.
I actually like that one, and I'm not a huge fan of the broad manga/anime art style as a general rule. At least it's something interesting and creative, which appeals to me far more than photoshopped fan posters.
Agree with you and CrazyOldJedi. Photoshopped fan posters and official posters with floating heads are the bane of creativity.
CrazyOldJedi Yep. I love the idea of Rey being in tune with the Force by walking through grass in feminine clothes (serenity!), but not so much the execution (photoshop).
I had no clue what it was so I googled it thinking it must be some new type of Grimdark. Turns out it's just some TV show.
It is a massive hit over here in the UK. It has the prime time Sunday BBC One spot when its on. I find it boring.
