Try throwing your lightsaber, and jump attacking the turrets.

As BJP has said, yes there are bots in Multiplayer, as in you can play the computer. Don't know how people get the idea that you can't. You just start multiplayer, its you vs the computer until the second player presses start to join. Same thing with the co-op missions.

Well, Vader and Ben are faster than they seem in the movies, but they are actually a little slower than some of the other characters. What I love about Vader and Ben, especially Ben, is there stances. Just like Episode 4.

And what I love about Multiplayer is that the characters taunt each other and the taunts they have some specific taunts for the characters they are facing.

At least thats the way it seems. I've had Dooku say something along the lines of "I made you now I'll destroy you" to Grievous, Obi-Wan said something to Windu, but I forgot what it was, Anakin says "You're not my fate" to Vader, and I've heard Vader say, "You're no Sith Lord" to Dooku.

Is there a way to choose a characters alternate outfit in duel mode, or is that only possible if both players choose the same character?

Tried some stuff. First of all, yes they can pick the same character, and to answer the question it appears as if alternate costumes only happen if the players do choose the same character. Tried all I can and nothing changes the costume on its own.

I'll tell ya, its weird fighting as Obi-Wan with a green saber and Dooku with a blue. I'll go over the costumes for those interested.

    Anakin - 1: No robe/blue saber. 2: Hood/robe/red saber
    Obi-Wan - 1: No robe/blue saber. 2:Hood/robe/green ls
    Dooku - 1: Reg Outfit/red saber. 2: Dark outfit/blue ls
Grievous - Both are same, except it's either blue or red saber.
Mace Windu - 1: Original 2: Darker top, blue saber.
Serra Keto - Original look, green ls - Mara Jade-ish, red sabers
Cin Drallig - Basically same as Serra, light and dark side costumes
Darth Vader - Original costume / Purple tint, blue saber (I don't know what the hell they were thinking.)
Ben Kenobi. 1: Hood up, blue saber. 2: Hood down, green saber

Man I wish we could figure out how to use those alternate costumes against different oppenents. I want to use dark anakin in vs mode and not go against myself! I beat the game to, and even though I beat it in a day, I absolutely love it and it was worth every penny. I'm now gonna go back through it on hard mode, hah, that wont take a day! :p What I really like is, they don't spoil everything for you. Dualing is just so much fun in this game, best lightsaber game ever bar none. My only complaint is that I wish they had co op and vs mode on xbox live.

Lol. If you ever play versus against Ben Kenobi, if you get him down to barely any health, he sacrifices himself just like Ep4. He even disappears. Of course it ruins the bonus mission when you do that, he sacrifices himself, disappears and then it shows it in the cutscene again.

As with the taunts, in versus Ben obviously says, "Only a master of evil Darth" when facing Vader.
Also heard, "I won't let you win again"

Thats what I was missing. When Obi-Wan faces Grievous in versus he uses the taunt, "Youre one ugly looking droid."

As cool as the vs game mode sounds,it would of been alot cooler if you could of played it online with other players and even get more characters for it from downloadble content.

Throw your saber at the ship, its the only thing that will work.

I got tied up there too.

When you get to Gunray's ship, you can do the same thing to weaken the ship so that Anakin can use lightning on the ship.

Anyone have a screenshot of old Obi from the vs mode?

    Nope, sorry.

But I beat the game and unlocked everything-pretty awesome, I must say. The Ben vs. Vader Bonus Mission is pretty cool.

Also, fighting with Grievous against Vader or the other way around is cool.

The Story Mode was good also, and the footage from Ep. III looked very good.

Well, I think i'm going to play Versus mode against myself.

A great Star Wars game-one of the best i've ever played.

The lightsaber duels in this game are just simply amazing, and there is a lot of them! It's going to make the duels in the movie look bad :/

    *MOVIE SPOILER*

Does anyone else not like the way palpatine when he is transformed says, "Every single jedi-including your friend Obi-Wan Kenobi- is now an enemy of the republic..."? The whole Including your friend obi wan kenobi part I don't like.

    ^I think it sounds great.

I just heard, in duel mode, Mace Windu's taunt before the match. "I will strike down upon you with great vengance!"

    [face_laugh] [face_laugh] [face_laugh]

    Great tie in.

First Reviews: PS2 version recieved an 8 out of 10 from Future Gamez and the X-Box version got a 7.5 out of 10 from Xbox Evolved. Obviously someone else here mentioned the PS2 review - aka too much droid killing kills the gameplay (okaaaayyyyy.....) Or was that another board I was on, oh well, I remember someone saying that not long ago.

And yes, those are positve reviews for those who don't think a game is good unless it gets a 9.0 or above.

Different reviewers... Just how it averaged out, kind of a different score for a game they say is a must buy for fans.

Anyway, I'd wait for the more highly regarded game sites and their reviews.

I don't know if ne1 else is playing this on hard but I'm having the most HELLISH time getting past grievous' endless droids on Utapau. The last game I played I was able to save 80% of my health going into the next part where I get 2 freaking clone troopers to help me against those ridiculous grappling droids, not to mention battle droid fire from every freaking direction. THEN, if I'm lucky enough to save at least half my health I have to force jump at least 3x before I can get passed the insane level. Why try to ruin the fun of a game by throwing endless droids on this unholy level and on top of that give just 2 useless clone troopers who can't kill anything? What's the secret to winning this level besides playing on loser easy level?
