I've tried that. It doesn't seem to be able to reach, though.

 

I love this game except for the fact that Yoda and Sidious aren't included in the VS part

 

This game shows that a really good melee mortal kombat style game is possible for Star Wars. I really hope sometime in the future we see a game with this as its main focus. Imagine it having tons of sith , and jedi to choose from to battle on tons of great maps.

 

I did the alternate ending thing last night. I liked it. Although, it was kind of surprising.

Hold down on the throw button and it'll go an inch further.

 

Am I the only one that now thinks they did that Original Trilogy level from Episode 4 as like a TEST thing & that MAYBE they will make Original Trilogy games like this one ?


This game is awesome but I would not have mined something more of an area exploration type game too


I kind of get the feeling there might be Original Trilogy games around the corner lets hope

I can't get past that 2nd bridge either on level 14. I tried throwing my lightsaber but it wouldn't reach the electrical circuit box. Are you playing the xbox version? I'm going to try and hold down the button like someone said.

The ANH battle is the re-match from RotS. It's in there as a bonus-- I didn't get the impression that it was a "test" for future OT games...

I have it and I spent my whole free day playing it.
Unlocking all the Duelists with the ZABRAK code I was estatic to see Darth Vader take on General Grievous.
I think this is probably the best Starwars game ever!

I really like this game, even if it is basically just Return of the King video game with lightsabers.

I like to hear Obi Wan tauting Mace Windu in VS mode..."You can't hide behind that purple lightsaber forever!"

"I'm going to do something to you I should have done a long time ago."-Obi-wan to Vader.

"I'm going to do something to you Obi-wan should have done a long time ago.-Mace Windu to Vader.

Those are just a few of my favorites.

 

I bought this game and really like it... only thing is I beat it in an afternoon Too easy... and I was on the Normal Setting...

Ill go back and play through it again...

They sure did go over board with the use of power couplings

I guess I am not sure as to the sifnicance of them? They are more in the PT than the OT

I really like this game, even if it is basically just Return of the King video game with lightsabers.

Me and a friend agreed on that this morning. Just like ROTK, ROTS is simply an all-too short button masher with hardly any replay value once you're done with it. And no, the vs. or multiplayer modes simply don't cut it, IMHO. I wasn't looking for a Star Wars-themed fighting game...

I should've known better. After all, this IS a movie tie-in game. And we all know how lackluster (save with the notable exception of Spider-Man 2) those are.

 

I just solved this game. I enjoyed it. I give it 8 out of 10.

I do have two disappointments:

1. This game is way too short. I solved in about 10 hours.

2. You cannot change the camera angle. It becomes annoying having to find and fight creatures that "theoretically" are standing on your side of the TV screen.

This game should inspire some company to make a Mortal Kombat style Star Wars game. There are so many characters they could include from the 6 movies. Here are the characters I would include in such a game:

Obi-wan Kenobi
Count Dooku
Mace Windu
Yoda
Anakin Skywalker
Darth Sidious
Luke Skywalker
Boba Fett

If those 13 characters arent enough, lord knows there are plenty of EU characters to choose from.

 

I havent really been reading this Thread because of potential "spoilers" but i seen the horriable rating IGn gave this game 4.5 out of 10. does it really deserve the bad rating or is it pretty good. (respond w/o spoilers plz ty).

 

Quite frankly, it seems the guy didn't like the game at IGN because he wasn't good at it. After all, when he previewed the game not long ago, all he could do is talk about his exploits in fighting in versus and how he got the crap beat out of him because of the other guys, "cheap antics".

This game deserves a 7.5 At the LEAST.

Actually looking this over, if Return of the King can get an 8.7 for Xbox and an 8.9 for PS2, then this game sure as hell can match that.
