I rented this game today. I'm sorry, but this game was not great. It was good in SOME aspects, but overall not really. It had the potential to be SO much more. The co-op mode is not even co-op. I wanted it to be like throughout the hole game. Not 4 levels and only one tiny spot. That was so bad. I felt cheated.

Well, I finally killed Dooku. I'm on level 7 now. I'm thinking I should get that new Star Wars PS2 controller so that I can program the combination moves, which would make playing the game a LOT easier. Now I'm Obi-Wan trying to get past those wannabe fett droids with the jet packs on their backs.

    Hey fellas,

I'm stuck in the level where Obi-Wan is on a platform and has nowhere to go. He has to destroy the gunship which alternately fires lasers, then rockets, then laser, then rockets, etc. How do you destroy the gunship?

Appreciate a reply and thanks in advance!

Reflect the lasers back at the Gunship, jedicri, and scream and run when it launches missiles at you. lol.

I personally hated this game. Too LOTR-esque in its fighting system. Though the extras are fun, I rented it and completed it in six or so hours...

Lego Star Wars lasted longer, and I enjoyed it a lot more.

Sinrebirth, thanks for the reply; will try the deflection thing but I did do this but it did not reflect back at the gunship.... In any case, will give it another shot.

Yes LEGO Star Wars is a lot fun with lots of re-play value!

What is the best way to beat Cin Drallig? i don't have a big problem beating Serra and had no problems with Dooku, Mace, or Grevious but Cin has my number. any input would be helpful

You can get the Alt Costumes by pitting the same two fighters against each other, though this only works for Computer/Player 2.

As for Cin, I just used "hit, run and heal" tactics. Force Push him so he lands on the floor then use your remaining force to heal yourself. Always be on the move as well. Sometimes it helps if you just don't use the lock-on system and jump/attack him.

After reading through some of the responses on the EP III game, I gotta say, that the ney-sayers of this game have their standards set a little too high. I thought this game did some serious a**-whoopin' and I thought the graphics were brilliant. I thought it was awesome how Lucas Arts incorporated a playable (suited) Darth Vader character. For those complaining on why suited Darth has force lightning and not force choke...I say...who gives a sh**!! Its a playable Darth! Everyone's a freakin' critic...BE HAPPY...I know I am. With all the SW games for PS2 and XBOX out there (Obi-Wan, Bounty Hunter, KOTOR I & II, Jedi Academy, etc), I think it was a great move since almost everyone's favorite bad guy is Darth. That's just my 2 cents.

I read back a couple of pages that said you could play in multiplayer with an unlockable character, without someone pushing start for 2 player. so its just you going through the levels by yourself with an unlocked player.....true or no?

I have a question about one of the cheat modes. What is the SuperSabres mode?

As an aside, after playing the vs mode I'd really like an all-Jedi Fighting game.

    6.3 from Gamespot

All of these Lego Star Wars references are pissing me off. I hate that game now.

Is there a "vs" mode on this game, kind of like Tekken or Mortal Kombat?

Yes, that's how VERSUS mode is, except with lightsabers and the force. But it allows more free movement, such as you can run around a room (kind of like a overhead view, instead of a side scroller type) instead of just being able to step right and left.

    Beat it earlier today.

Far too short IMO. Should've had online capability. Should've had more co-op. Should've been longer.

    Other then that, solid gameplay.

Nope. You can only play as Yoda in a bonus mission just for him.

    Versus mode characters are:

    Anakin Skywalker
    Obi-Wan Kenobi
    Count Dooku
    General Grievous
    Mace Windu
    Serra Keto
    Cin Drallig
    Darth Vader (Episode IV)
    Ben Kenobi (Episode IV)

    :eek:WHAT!!

Man that's BS you should be able to play in vs. mode with EVERYBODY, Sidious and Yoda included.

(To be honest, I think it would have been cool if they had ALL the jedi and sith from every previous movie in there, Luke, Maul, Qui-Gonn,...etc.)

Yeah, I really wanted to duke it out like in STAR WARS: Lego. That was fun! But anyway, that would've been cool: fighting with the great Qui-Gonn once more! Too bad though... :(
