Seventh Sister had a decent role in Rise of the Red Blade, hope that this series will develop her even more.
I don’t think anything will ever make any inquistor except the Trilla and the grand inquistor but still looking forward to this
I really like that idea. An extension of it could be that the legends inquisitors report directly to Palpatine, instead of to Vader like how the canon ones do
Which plays into how Palpatine and Vader prefer to act. Vader with blunt force and Palpatine with manipulation behind the scenes
https://comic-watch.com/news/exclus...of-order-66-begins-in-star-wars-inquisitors-1 It is probably the first time the GI looks like a Pau'an from the movie without some sort of stylization. Scythe and TIE-Reapers is a good combo.
I'm interested in seeing where this goes. Spoiler The ship with Tensu Run's master aboard seemed like some sort of Jedi retirement home.
Spoiler Yep, it's the Voyager Dawn from the High Republic Adventures Galactic Bake-Off one-shot. It's like the Chu'unthor of retirement homes.
Spoiler Amazing seeing things from the most obscure corners of the High Republic pop up in later works. Really makes me want a look at Tenoo in the OT era sometime. ...Especially interesting seeing things from a more light-hearted story come back in such a dark and depressing way. ......maybe I don't need to see mordern Tenoo....
I think this was the strongest opening issue for a Star Wars titles since maybe the Dark Horse years.
Just got the chance to read this, and I quite liked it! I wonder if we are following one particular Inquisitor per issue (with Fifth Brother taking the lead in the second one) with hunt for Tensu Run by the Grand Inquisitor being the main storyline. Great to see the Grand Inquisitor in full power, though! It was long overdue to have the Inquisitorius getting some victories.
Spoiler Looks like, but that's also after the original astromech was blasted in a previous mission. So, it could be a modification made in order to accommodate a fully functioning astromech along the lines of the Delta-7b. They just retrofitted a droid socket into the side position. Could even have been parts reclaimed from a Jedi interceptor wreckage.
Seems like that, with the Seventh and Ninth Sisters doing it in the third one. Hope that the Eighth Brother will reappear as well, there is a great chance to finally give us his team-up with Marrok.
Good issue finally read it. I like seeing more of the Grand Inqusitor. Spoiler His relationship with Darth Vader is intresting where in Timeline are we Around Kenobi to Rebels??
Too true. It would be fun to see either of them. And eight brother hunting Maul reminds me that there were references to the empire purging dark side groups as well, might be fun to see an evil vs evil story like that. Spoiler Seems intentionally vague to me. Probably will leave it to some later sourcebook to pin down an exact date.
With many Force cults introduced and reintroduced in THR Phase 2, maybe it will be shown how Inquisitors are hunting them, including ones that use the Dark side.
True, I guess I misunderstood what you are saying. This seems to be close even to order 66 for surviving jedi to be relatively active and for a whole ship of jedi to be missed, but far enough out for this to be an established quo people are sick of. So I would put it around the mid-point between ROTJ and Kenobi, around the same time as Jedi Fallen Order. Maybe it is even what most of the Inquistors were busy with when Cal ransacked their fortress. Yes, exactly! So many interesting different force traditions with their own abilities to go up against. And besides the phase 2 force faiths, we have a few more elsewhere - the Dagoyan order from TCW (has to be some reason Jar Jar wasn't living with his royal girlfriend after Endor), a few mention in Dooku's book, and whatever they want to recanonize or invent of course.
Spoiler: Issue #2 Another glimpse of the Fifth Brother's backstory, seems like he killed his Jedi master shortly after the start of the Order 66. Also he lost his hand again.
Spoiler: Issue #3 Finally Inquisitors going undercover (with interesting style choice from the Seventh Sister), and their plan was good (in an evil way, of course), too bad Tensu Run's power level is similar to Ahsoka's one at worst.
