Perhaps it can be an option for the main character as well? He just flies off into the distance at the end, journeying to start a new life?
That's interesting. If they're doing flashbacks, I can't see them being able to resist showing Order 66 from Cal's perspective. Though I wonder if these flashbacks, being used to learn new abilities, are found through the World Between Worlds-style skill tree we've seen? Maybe opening portals onto specific memories from his past? Rather than, say, Cal going into a flashback in the middle of an actual level or cutscene in the game proper?
I think these training flashbacks will be him on corusant with his master and training droids. Maybe we see him watching his master die in a flashback order 66 momment. Kinda like Kanan experienced. Also Cal will be listening to Kenobi's message from Rebels.
I am looking forward to this game so much, especially now that I've seen more gameplay, I absolutely adore Dark Souls and this looks like Star Wars Dark Souls
For the same reason I'm ambivalent as I consider the Souls subgenre to be quite emphatically not for me. Yet, quite a few aspects of their systems have been picked up by other games, like the recent Assassin's Creed games which gave the series a radical overhaul, so depending on how they do it, it might be accessible enough for me. If Titanfall 2 is any example, there'll be an Easy setting I can use, while those of you who want the "Death by Vader" setting, can have that too.
The little tag along backpack droids are probably one of the neatest things EA has brought to Star Wars. Both this BD-1 and the little probe droid that follows Iden around.
I wonder if the aqua/cyan color is available for the lightsaber. The comic has been fantastic and can' wait for the game.
Ah, but it IS an unlockable in LEGO Star Wars, The Complete Saga. Plus, I'm sure carrying a translator droid would be pretty useful for a guy who can't speak Basic and whose Shyriiwook-speaking buddy is trapped in carbonite. We see the logical extreme of this with that SWTOR Wookiee NPC who has a protocol droid head strapped to their chest.
Ah, but that is a much later game. I actually looked on youtube to see if Super Empire Strikes Back had Threepio on Chewie 's back in one mission. It doesn't lol. Fair point. We also had Lowbacca with M-TD long before that.
