Sorry,I was referring to the epic collections. The Mixed-Up Droid comic, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, Jedi Quest, Starfighter - Crossbones, The
    Assassination of Darth Vader,
and The Gauntlet of Death all need to be collected. One could also include Evasive Action, Rookies, A Hunter's Fate- Greedo's Tale, and Reversal of Fortune from Hyperspace. The Shadows of the Empire Galoob and Ertl specials + Battle of the Bounty Hunters need to be collected. There are also the Star Wars Adventures (Dark Horse), Clone Wars Adventures, and Clone Wars graphic novellas, along with The Clone Wars webcomic

The ones in blue font are collected in the DH Wild Space Omnibus Vol. 1

The one in red font is collected in Epic Collections, The Empire Vol. 4.

    copied from comixology:
Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Empire Vol. 4

Collects Star Wars: Darth Vader And The Cry Of Shadows #1-5; Star Wars: Jabba The Hutt — The Gaar Suppoon Hit, The Hunger Of Princess Nampi, The Dynasty Trap And Betrayal; And Star Wars: Boba Fett — Enemy Of The Empire #1-4 — Plus Material From Star Wars Tales #7, #11-12, #15 And #18-20; Star Wars Visionaries Ogn; Dark Horse Presents Annual '99; And Free Comic Book Day 2012: Star Wars.

    • The Luke Skywalker Walkabout Story from Dark Horse Presents Annual 1999 is finally collected in The Empire Vol. 4

I hope that the pop-up books like Battle of the Bounty Hunters get collected. I'm more concerned that the rarities, odds, and ends get released in digital form and then stay available in digital. I have no plans on purchasing hardcopies of the Epic Collections but I am buying them digitally on comixology.

    • Brothers in Arms (FCBD 2005, green font) is available digitally for free on comixology.
Free Comic Book Day: Star Wars (2005)

Check out this precursor issue to Revenge of the Sith! With the battle between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance heating up, who will prove victorious? An explosive, high-flying adventure you have to read to believe! [IMG]

Oh, what about River of Chaos?

Also, I agree it is important to preserve them digitally. Still, it would be nice to see them all collected in physical form as well (referring to the Epic Collections)

There are also the 4 Hasbro/Toys'R'Us comics
    Full of Surprises
    Most Precious Weapon
    Practice Makes Perfect
    Machines of War

River of Chaos is collected in the DH Omnibus: Early Victories:

The 4 Hasbro/TRU mini comics from the Attack of the Clones-era are collected in the DH Omnibus: Menace Revealed

The Marvel Epic Collection: Newspaperstrips Vol.1 includes 3 comic stories never-before-collected nor published outside of newsprint. All three are also in the IDW newspaper strip Vol. 1 collection.

    1) Constancia Affair in its original version

    2) Depths of Kashyyyk

    3) Planet of Kadril

    • Free Comic Book Day 2013 should be collected in one of the tradepaperbacks for Star Wars (2013). This is the one with Brian Wood as writer.
    • The original FCBD comic may be tracked down on Ebay. The other years can be found on Ebay as well.

The DH Omnibus Clone Wars, Vol. 3 has FCBD 2005 included.

Star Wars Omnibus: Clone Wars Vol. 3: The Republic Falls

Collects Star Wars: Republic (1998) #70–#77 and #81–#83, Star Wars: Obsession #1–#5, and Free Comic Book Day 2005.

    • DH Clone Wars Vol. 7 also collects FCBD 2005

I'm wondering about the contents of a possible Star Wars Epic Collection the Newspaper Strips Volume 2. It should contain the first part of The Serpent Masters and the other 16 issues of the Classic Star Wars series but what else? I think it would be cool if they included all the black & white comic strips too.

@Tython Awakening I'm referring to the Epic Collections. The omnibuses and stuff are great, but I'd like them all to be in "the Legends Epic Collection", creating "one huge tapestry, collecting full unbroken runs of all the greatest Star Wars comics from the past 35 years." All the comics aforementioned have yet to be included in the Epic Collections.

Seems like one or more new Epic Collection gets published every quarter.

There might be an editor at Marvel or Lucasfilm who can take suggestions if something is missing.

They'll be collected hopefully! They've been pretty thorough so far! I thought it would be good to note what's missing so far so said suggestions could be made, if necessary

Yes, I agree. They are including all the variant covers and trade covers.

Marvel is reprinting Dark Horse's Conan runs as well. That is a good sign there is cooperation. Conan is following the same pattern starting in Jan. 2019.

Would anyone happen to be keeping track of Legends issues not yet collected by Marvel? I'd be interested in seeing what their percentage complete is currently at.
Am I wrong in thinking that The Empire volumes will definitely have the most entries? There are still so many more issues to collect before Yavin.

I'm interested in making another attempt at putting that info together. Someone else might do a better job but at least I can make an attempt. I would go era by era from Dawn of the Jedi through Legacy Vol. II. So probably it requires double and triple posting. If I make an attempt, I hope someone else can make an attempt so I'm not the only crazy person! :)

The photo archive at Rebelscum.com has one of the best checklists I've seen for comics, action figures, and other SW collectibles.

That Dark Horse Collection is nice - but also extremely irritating. They made their Hardcover Collections like that (Thrawn Trilogy, Crimson Empire, Legacy 1/2/3) some weird size that isn't the same as a Collected TPB or Hardcover typically is, but they are also not the same size as all the Omnibuses they were putting out. It just lives in its own perpetually annoying sized universe of non-conformity.

These Three Legends Epic Collections (under spoiler tag) are the only ones I can currently find. The first two appear to have been released as scheduled in September and October 2018.

The third is The Old republic Vol. 3, scheduled for an April 2, 2019 release. It will have KOTOR Issues 38-50, KOTOR War 1-5, and material from Tales #24.
Beyond these, I have not found any solicitations or previews for new Epic Collections. There were a lot of Epic Collections released in 2018, so maybe Marvel will surprise us in Winter 2018/Spring 2019. I'm counting 6 Epic Collections released in 2018 alone. With only 1 announced for 2019, we should hopefully learn more soon!

Another point of interest -- the lag time between Old Republic Epic Collections has been about two years. We have April 2, 2019 slated as the release date for Old Republic Vol. 3. Well, Old Republic Vol. 1 had a release date of July 1, 2015. While, Old Republic Vol. 2 had a release date of March 8, 2017. Beyond Volume 3, should we wait until 2021 for Volume 4? And then there's the problem of what Volume 4 would consist of. Might it consist of Threat of Peace, Blood of the Empire, and The Lost Sons?

An Epic Collection treatment of those comics could have all of three of the mini series and then there are some extras as well.

The various releases for Threat of Peace have the most extras. There is a guidebook in the back pages of the Threat of Peace U.S. tradepaperback. There are also some variant comic releases.

If Vol. 4 goes to the Old Republic mini series, we should get the following included as bonus art pages:

Threat of Peace #1, SDCC 2009 Foil Mini Comic Cover (foil artwork continued on backcover as well)

    Threat of Peace #1, Variant

The Clone Wars Epic Collections are only on Vol. 2, released on March 21, 2018, so there is a long way to go. The Clone Wars stories from the Jedi One-Shots and Republic are being released right now. The Clone Wars TV Series tie-in material may not fit seamlessly with the Republic material.

There's also the Clone Wars web comics for Seasons 1 thru 3. Season 1 was released as a convention-exclusive tradepaperback.
